Originally designed to represent the Polish crown jewels, any photographer will be inspired by the spectacular views and inviting shores of the Menai Strait. Being nestled within such awe inspiring natural beauty lends itself perfectly to incredible wedding photographs, with stunning backdrops and incredible views as standard. With an abundance of stunning ceremony rooms, steeped in romanticism and boasting breath-taking views, Château Rhianfa is an ideal wedding canvas restricted only by your imagination. This stunning venue has the capacity to host up to 92 guests for your ceremony or seated reception and can accommodate 120 guests come the evening celebrations. From the exquisite Banqueting Hall to the quirky underground Wine Cave, Château Rhianfa provides a rich tapestry complete with unsurpassed ambiance and versatility. I always knew that I would be able to relax on our wedding day as you have everything so organised and under control. The whole team are wonderful and seemed to sort anything so quickly and calmly. They are all so professional yet friendly and welcoming, they really helped make the day. We cant say enough thank you’s, everyone needs an Elin for their wedding or any event quite frankly. We loved every step and meeting together organising things and getting more and more excited. I always knew that I would be able to relax on our wedding day as you have everything so organised and under control. The whole team are wonderful and seemed to sort anything so quickly and calmly. They are all so professional yet friendly and welcoming, they really helped make the day. We cant say enough thank you’s, everyone needs an Elin for their wedding or any event quite frankly.

But my main reason for writing is to particularly thank all the staff for very kindly, and thoughtfully helping me ( and my chariot - sometimes identified as an electric scooter) to move around and continually checking if I was ok. That concern and help really was gratefully appreciated from the moment Moira and I arrived until we eventually left. As a little girl I grew up in the village behind Chateau Rhianfa and always dreamed of my special day there. It was more than what I could have ever imagined. Enquiring was easy and replies are super fast, Elin was able to tailor our package to exactly what we wanted and was flexible with requests throughout. On the lead up to the day it was really nice to attend wedding fayres at the venue to help with ideas and suppliers, the Chateau Staff always make everyone feel very welcome. We received lots of information and it was so lovely to meet with Elin several times to walk round the venue, talk through wedding day ideas, menu tasting and get excited with someone that actually cared about our special day. As someone who is very organised and loves running events, I felt so at ease passing everything we wanted to Elin and I was actually able to stand back and feel comfortable, confident and happy that Elin had it all under control. You are amazing Elin and we were so lucky to have you on our special day. We truly had the best day of our lives and all our guests complimented how amazing the hospitality was throughout the day. From the drinks flowing to the gorgeous meal, it wasn’t the typical wedding food on the table. The plates were full and the food was incredible, guests still mention how great the food was! The bar staff were fantastic and I must name Lewis who went above and beyond, not only for us but for all our guests. An absolute asset to the team! Thank you! Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
It's hard to pick just one! If you're outside and face one way you have the gorgeous building behind you, and if you face the other you have the Menai Strait and Eryri Mountains behind you. We're also blessed to have a venue that has a gorgeous interior for your photos!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We will have to keep you guessing on this one!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Either the mini chocolate tarts or mini scones with jam and cream (basically anything that's made by our pastry chef!)
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our pizzas always go down a treat with the guests who want to keep the party going!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The venue itself! A French Chateau on Anglesey built in the 19th Century with views of the Eryri mountain range
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The team we have here at the Chateau. We're a small team, however everybody (from housekeeping to the chef's to our wedding coordinator) are all involved on a wedding day to make our couple's day extra special!
