From the planning meetings to the day after, the management & staff were brilliant. Everything we asked for was done without a problem and staff were always available & looking to help throughout the event. The hotel has lots of character & is decorated with taste & originality. The rooms I saw (about 4 or 5) were of a high standard. Apart from a couple of exceptions, the food was rated very highly by all I spoke to. The two exceptions were dealt with by replacing choices & done professionally. The wedding couple met the organiser Ian at the hotel several times in the months before the happy day and were very pleased with his helpful advice. The day itself was just brilliant, everything being so well organised in a lovely, relaxed manner.. All the guests agreed that the meal was outstanding and very well presented. The guests at each table were served their courses at the same time with no need to wait. All staff were attentive and polite.. Although the evening entertainment was held in a private room, we had full access to the lounge and bar areas for quieter chats with friends.. The rooms were excellent with plenty of space for dressing etc..
