Nicky was great at keeping us up to date with what we needed to be doing and when in terms of the planning of the day. The venue itself , absolutely perfect ! Felt homely welcoming and warm with different spaces in addition to the main function room. All which were available for us to freely use. Our ceremony was in the restaurant part which was lovely. The chairs and set up were perfect for us. We then had photos and fizz and canapés and our guests could mingle in the bar area before our wedding meal in the main function room which was set up beautifully. And the food !!!! 10/10 amazing ! From the canapés to the actual wedding breakfast to the evening buffet. All fabulous. Then we partied into the night and didn’t need to worry as we were given the bridal suite as part of our wedding package. Bedrooms all immaculate! Also the rooms at the walnut tree inn were made available to our guests as a priority. I also need to add that every member of staff we came into contact with were brilliant, from the bar staff , waiting staff to the lady serving breakfasts and the cleaners , all lovely ! Special thanks to Nicky and Fraser. 100% recommend this venue , we will definitely be returning for a meal and a gig night ! Thankyou all The Walnut Tree Inn delivered! Our day was just the best ! On meeting Bex, their wedding coordinator, we knew instantly we were in safe hands and nothing was too much trouble. We went for an intimate package with 20 guests and it was a perfect day. The setting caters for all kinds of celebration and the food is fantastic.
