We attended this venue for my friends wedding and it was a beautiful setting. What a beautiful building and surroundings.. The service was conducted in the main hall which was beautifully decorated. After the service we congregated outside for drinks and photos and there were games for the children to play.. The bar was in the cellar but tastefully decorated.. I also had a look around the building as it has so much history and was very interesting.
The most amazing site I have come across in the Midlands, very quirky and always happening - I just love being here. I've been to the cellar bar many times, for events and the comedy nights. I also came for the creative networking and had a really good time. Well worth a visit especially for businesses and local creatives who want to be involved in a whole host of activities.
This venue has a uniqueness that makes it stand out. It's a primary school by day and when it's transformed into a wedding venue it's simply stunning. The cellar bar is cosy and with the history of the building, it's a really remarkable place. The outdoor toilets could be nicer and the steps into the cellar bar/main hall can be tricky for those with limited mobility(there is disabled access at the rear) but otherwise we loved it for our wedding. The outdoor space is a fabulous addition. We used some of the lawn for lawn games/kids toys and had an outdoor taxi photobooth too. It's also well placed for guest travelling from all directions, being just off the M42 /M1.
