Perfect for civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests, our 19th century Farmhouse with private bar, exposed oak beams and private lounge is the perfect venue to say "I DO".
Our stunning marquee is large enough to hold up to 200 guests, this is complemented by chandeliers, draping & its own private courtyard.
Plus create a variety of colour themes, through use of our changeable mood lighting and fairy lights.

Our packages are a great starting base for couples to guide them to finding what they want for their special day. Whether it's a small and intimate offering for 30 guests or our platinum package for 150 people, all the packages come with a range of items to give you the perfect day. We understand every couple is different so we are always happy to create something truly bespoke to suit you! Our prices vary based on guest numbers and seasonality.

The staff at the venue could not have been better, everything was done perfectly and they really helped make our day special. Tony the DJ was also fantastic in the evening. The price we paid was very reasonable and the drinks at the bar were also not expensive. All round amazing.We got married here yesterday and the day was perfect. - AAmy Bryan now Sewell04/08/2025The Perfect Intimate Wedding DayThe Perfect Intimate Wedding DayWe booked the Shropshire as its not only beautiful but caters for smaller weddings, we only wanted around 40 guests and they have great packages for more intimate days that other vendors don't. Throughout the planning the team were excellent, they were very transparent with costs and we had no surprises with our budget. The day itself was magical, as most brides, I'd been very specific about how I wanted things and nothing was to much trouble. They enabled me to havr lunch delivered to me and my Bridesmaids late morning, ensured everything was on schedule and were ensuring every detail of the space looked immaculate. The food was amazing, we had a 3 course wedding breakfast with the only choice for our guests being a vegetarian option and everyone loved the food,empty plates everywhere. We gave our guests a drinks token instead of putting wine on the tables and the bar prices when I settled the tab were very reasonable. We also had some people who didn't drink - myself included as a pregnant bride and the provided non alcoholic prosecco for both arrival drinks and toast to us that needed it which was a lovely touch. They provided a golf buggy for us to go and have evening wedding photos on the golf course which was amazing. Evening buffet went down a treat with pork baps! They were so generous with portions so we felt great value for money. We used their DJ they bring in (AJs Disco) and he was great, such a lovely man who who even went round handing out wedding cake to make himself useful bless him. We feel incredibly satisfied with how our day went, we had the prefect day, The Shropshire staff made us feel they cared very deeply about our day and making sure it went perfectly. We had alot of compliments on the lovely venue and how nice the food was, dj was brilliant and had everyone on the dance floor. Honestly I'd do it over and over again. Site won't let me upload photos. Had our day 1st June and it was amazing everything was perfect, Sam made sure the rooms looker beautiful was organised the entire day, staff were so lovely and accommodating. We had alot of compliments on the lovely venue and how nice the food was, dj was brilliant and had everyone on the dance floor. Honestly I'd do it over and over again. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We had the pleasure of having Shy & Eddie marry with us in 2023, working with the couple was a joy and they brought the fun and their African traditions to The Shropshire. There was the most amazing traditional clothing, the music was fantastic and they brought a smile to all the team that day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Focus on what truly matters to you both, not what you think you're supposed to do. Set your priorities early—whether it's amazing food, a killer playlist, or just an intimate vibe—and let everything else fall into place around that. It’s your day, not anyone else’s.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches was a couple who hand-painted a mini portrait of each guest to use as their place cards. It was incredibly personal and heartfelt.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The best photo spot at our venue is hands down the lakeside on the golf course. The water, the open sky, and the perfectly manicured greens come together for a stunning natural backdrop
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes! We were lucky enough to welcome football legend Steve Bull to our venue. He was just as friendly and down-to-earth as you'd hope!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our favourite canapé has to be the tandoori chicken skewers with raita. They’re bursting with flavour, perfectly bite-sized, and always a crowd-pleaser.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Nothing beats our hog roast menu. A tasty pork bap, piled high with juicy, slow-cooked meat, crispy crackling, and a generous spoonful of apple sauce!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our most unique feature is the 250 acres of stunning countryside that surround the venue. With rolling hills, lush greenery, and endless open space, it creates the most beautiful, tranquil setting for a wedding—and unforgettable photo opportunities in every direction.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Honestly, there isn’t a part of our business we’re not proud of. From our dedicated greenkeepers who keep the grounds looking stunning year-round, to our sales team who help bring each couple’s vision to life, and our front of house team who ensure everything runs smoothly on the big day.
