The Sancroft Barns

Having passed the sign for Sancroft Barns at least twice a day for six years we decided last sept to go and have a look, when we arrived I said to my then fiancée "no booking we are just looking" as this was the one & only venue we had viewed (still is). We were both blown away by the beauty of the barn and its settings, Jeremy was so welcoming chatting about our options and listening to our ideas, I think its safe to say we liked it, bearing in mind we had no date in our set,within 3 maybe 4 hours we had set a date, booked the registrar and venue. Over the following months we started planning our big day, in February of this year we along with some of our wedding party attended an open day at Sancroft Barns where we met Jeremy's wife Rachael who was just as welcoming & helpful as Jeremy, everyone was astounded with the venues beauty. As our special day fast approached us we arranged times for set up etc, again Jeremy was very accommodating. Wedding day arrived and everything was perfect, we couldn't have wished for anywhere better!!!

My wife and I had the most perfect wedding reception at The Sancroft Barns. Jeremy and Rachel were the perfect venue hosts from start to finish, providing support, collaborating with our caterer, bar, sound engineer etc., and helping out on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and has all the amenities you could possibly need for a beautiful wedding. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Where do we start with the Sancroft Barns and their team? From the moment we saw it we knew it was the place for our special day. From the history to the grounds to the team everything was perfect. We visited the venue multiple times before July and every time it got better and better. Jeremy and Rachel are exceptional owners and we can’t thank them enough. It felt like having two (extra organised) guests making sure everything ran smoothly. They never imposed or over stepped - they just took all our ideas and made them work. From start to finish they were incredible. The Sancroft barns was the most beautiful venue and we loved that we could make it our own. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and can’t express enough how much we adored every little thing. We will never be able to thank Jeremy and Rachel enough for making our day the best it could be!

We were fortunate enough to celebrate our wedding at The Sancroft Barns in July, and we are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. A huge thank you to Jeremy, Rachael, and the entire team for providing such a stunning venue, flawless organisation, and incredible support throughout. Despite living abroad and never having visited the venue in person before booking, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and we've been overwhelmed with positive feedback from our guests, with the beauty of the venue consistently praised. We especially appreciate the hard work and flexibility of the team, especially during the initial planning stages when we were liaising on plans from thousands of miles away, and in the final preparations when we had to make last-minute changes due to the threat of rain. The change to host our ceremony outside the wind-sheltered 'Wed Shed' turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire wedding - we can't imagine having had such flexibility in other venues with less than 24 hours to go! Our wedding was a vibrant blend of cultures, colours, and languages, and Jeremy and Rachael’s enthusiasm for embracing these unique elements was truly appreciated. Their willingness to follow YouTube instructions to prepare a Senegalese dish for our drum blessing ritual was especially impressive. I’m sure such details were never part of their original plans for The Barns, but you’d never know it from how seamlessly everything came together! :) Thank you once again for making our special day truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team to help bring our vision to life! Merci beaucoup; Jërëjëf!!

Wow – where do we even begin? We are tearing up writing this because The Sancroft Barns is the best venue in the world! There’s nothing more we need to say other than The Sancroft Barns is simply the most stunning venue there is. We knew from the moment we viewed it over a year and a half before our wedding that this venue had something special about it. The barn has so many small details which really help it to shine, such as exposed wooden beams in the walls, tracks in the floors from when it was a working barn and gigantic doors to let loads of natural light in. It is a relatively new venue, but please don’t let that put you off. Jeremy and Rachael were absolutely outstanding from start to finish and really went above and beyond every single step of the way. We were invited to every open day, had constant communication and were always welcomed with warm, open arms. We had a pre-wedding meeting close to the wedding date and ran through everything which really put our mind at ease. Now, the day before, day of and day after is where Jeremy and Rachael truly SHINED!! The day before, they were so incredibly helpful, they helped out where they could, but also allowed us to have time alone with our wedding party to take in everything before the big day. We had a thorough rehearsal of the ceremony which was incredibly helpful and also did one last run through of the entire venue and running of the day – we knew whatever happened after that Jeremy and Rachael would have everything in hand. They were so knowledgeable, giving us recommendations and really instilling the confidence in us that our vision for the perfect day was coming to life. We have not come across more selfless, kind and courteous people in a long long time – they truly do make you feel like the most important people in the world. Our wedding day was beyond perfection, from our ceremony in the paddock, to lawn games on the grounds, our wedding breakfast in the barn and dancing the night away… well… just about everywhere! Words can’t truly describe how much Jeremy and Rachael did for us, from calming us down before the ceremony, DJing the music throughout the day, getting guests hayfever tablets from their own home, moving furniture around for us, fishing out some super glue from their home to fix one of our pairs of sunglasses and even taking us back to our accommodation afterwards when our taxi didn’t turn up – they were incredible! We truly can’t thank them enough for everything, the most stunning hosts with the most incredible venue. Every single thing they did was so personal and you can tell they really put their all into making your day pure and utter perfection. Jeremy and Rachael were chatting with guests, laughing and crying along with us and honestly could’ve just been invited as members of the family because they fit in so well – we didn’t even realise all the hard work they were putting in behind the scenes, because they made it look so effortless. We viewed a few wedding venues before and none of them even come close to The Sancroft Barns, it truly is one of a kind and the fact you can make the entire space your own is so beautiful. The day after our wedding we came back to see they had taken everything down for us, something which we were not expecting at all, but was so so appreciated after being that exhausted. We had a wonderful chat and relived the day again and were sent out with big hugs and massive smiles on our faces. If you are thinking of viewing and booking The Sancroft Barns, please do. We wish we could relive our day there over and over, it can only be described as perfection – we are now just trying to convince everyone else to get married there so we can find an excuse to go back and enjoy again! We love you Jeremy, Rachael (and your wonderful team) and we can’t thank you enough for everything – The Sancroft Barns will forever hold the most special place in our hearts.

The Sancroft Barns was the most beautiful venue for our wedding. Jeremy and Rachael are two of the friendliest, most helpful people we have ever met. Their attention to detail was impeccable meaning not a single thing was out of place on the day. They made sure to know of every little detail we imagined for the day and delivered on EVERYTHING + so much more! They didn’t stop the entire day but the smiles never left their faces, the other members of the team were also incredible! There is so much more I could say but really all I need to say is BOOK THIS VENUE; you will not be disappointed, they will exceed all of your expectations, their property and barn are picture perfect and you can tell they love what they do. I’m so glad we decided on this venue that was a little further away from home - forever grateful to you both Jeremy & Rachael, thank you from the both of us for giving us our dream wedding at your beautiful property!

Thank you so much to Jeremy and Rachael and the team for helping us make our wedding day so special, everyone loved the venue and praised it so heavily and it was exactly what I was looking for for our wedding! The Sancroft Barn crew were so responsive and lovely during the planning process and made everything so smooth for us and our vendors. Everyone had a great time and was happy not to have to go too far after all the celebrations to get some sleep! Everything on offer from the venue itself was so useful, and being able to pick our own vendors made the day so special and unique to us! Matt and I got married at the Sandcroft Barns on the 25th May 2024. We choose the venue as it fitted our requirements these being mainly flexibility and versatility, the day and venue did not disappoint. Providing us and our guests with the most laidback, fun, stress free but professional wedding. The barn itself has been beautifully restored and makes for the most stunning backdrop for photos. The grounds are perfect for camping and also offer picture perfect settings. Jeremy and his family were amazing from the first contact, nothing was ever to much trouble and they made sure the day ran smoothly, effortlessly without us even noticing. We had so many comments about the venue and the way it was run, so high praise for Jeremy and his “team” We would highly recommend The Sandcroft barns for anyone getting married or even wanting to hold a party or event, we will definitely be having parties here in the future. Jeremy & Rachel were amazing I cannot fault them!! Made everything so easy to sorting so much out for us! I cannot thank them enough and cannot recommend them highly enough, the day ran smoothly thanks to them and their venue is beautiful!!
