As a supplier, one of the best venues to work at. The staff are exceptional and truly bring couples visions to life effortlessly. The culture and atmosphere at the hotel is so welcoming and warm, matched only in greatness by it's unique and incredible views across the vastness of Lake Windermere and the surrounding mountains. Without doubt the venue I would have been married at had they done weddings 15 years ago.

We love working with The Ro! The venue is superb - old world charm mixed with modern styling. We especially love the ballroom with it's exquisite cornicing, chandelier and view - it provides the perfect space and neutral colour palate for whatever your dream styling is. The staff are really lovely to work with and Rochelle in the wedding team will take great care of you on your most special of days.

We got married at The Ro in June, and we cannot thank the wonderful team enough for our beautiful wedding day. Planning our wedding with Rochelle was completely stress free as nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was accommodating and attentive to every tweak, detail and request we made. On the day, Patty was absolutely exceptional as our wedding coordinator, she not only ensured the day was perfectly coordinated and ran perfectly, but cared for us and our families. I think Patty has super powers, as she was able to immaculately coordinate our ceremony set up, whilst checking in on the bride & groom throughout the morning of getting ready. We both had a relaxed morning of getting ready thanks to Patty. From start to finish Adam did absolutely everything and more for us to make sure our day was perfect, we felt so well looked after and said so many times throughout the day how perfect everything was, ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to night do, it was all absolutely stunning and each ‘section’ of the day ran seamlessly into the next. Adam was also our MC, he added personal touches introducing us into the room, announcing speeches, he was absolutely fantastic. All of our guests, many of which stayed at the hotel, were blown away by the Lake views, service and attention to detail The Ro provided. Rochelle, Patty, Adam, Jake, Robbie, reception, waiting / bar staff at The Ro Hotel you were all incredible and we really had the best day of our lives! We cannot recommend this venue enough for a Lake District wedding! x

I recently provided entertainment at The Ro Hotel and had a great experience. The staff were super easy to work with and very professional, especially the events co-ordinator Rochelle who is always on hand to answer any questions. The hotel has different function rooms for various party sizes, which is really convenient. You can also personalise your event, making it just the way you want. The staff are excellent and always ensure everything goes smoothly. If you’re looking for an easy and flexible venue, with amazing views. The Ro Hotel is a fantastic choice.

We recently got married at the Ro and our day was simply perfect. Rochelle was our wedding coordinator and she was simply amazing. From booking the wedding to the actual day. Nothing was too much trouble and our day ran smoothly. We stayed at the Ro suite, and the room is simply stunning. The view from those windows it something you never forget. All the staff were extremely friendly and we were simply treated like VIP. The food was stunning and all of our guests commented on the canapés and the wedding food. We couldn't thank you all enough for making our day special and we can't wait to visit again on our anniversary

I absolutely loved everything about my stay here. I had the most wonderful wedding day in this amazing venue. All the staff were amazing especially Rochelle (wedding co-ordinator) and Lynn who went above and beyond for myself and all my 18 wedding guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to host your special day as the prices were reasonable and the food and drinks were amazing. All of our friends and family loved staying here too. Fantastic views of lake windermere too.
