Venue hire at The Riverside Glasshouse includes exclusive use of our stunning venue, featuring an indoor botanical garden, private terrace, and breathtaking views of the River Leam. You’ll have access to flexible spaces for your ceremony, dining, and evening celebrations, accommodating from 30 up to 120 seated guests or 150 for an evening reception.
Our dedicated events team provides planning support, venue tours, and ensures seamless coordination on your big day. With tailored dining and drinks (cocktail) options with a focus on exceptional service, and the ability to accommodate dietary requirements. We create a truly unforgettable experience for your wedding. Let us bring your vision to life! We are not a Hotel, however, we do have Hotels & amazing Airbnbs within a very short walk... Who wants to drive to a wedding if they can help it.

They spent so much time with us to prepare and plan our day flawlessly. The food was all vegan and was unbelievably tasty that it converted some non-vegan guests. We had a mix of Asian, African, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food which worked so well, accommodating all dietary restrictions without impacting the taste. Steve, Tommy, Sarah and their team worked tirelessly and went beyond making sure everyone was taken care of and answering our many queries. We wish we could do it all again and wouldn’t change a single thing. The venue was lovely with the greenery of the glasshouse and surrounding area, and the food was excellent, it is very hard to do it justice in a short review! The staff were very professional and friendly, and the whole process was made clear and assistance was provided every step of the way. We and all of our guests had an amazing time and we couldn't have pictured the day being any better. Truly a exceptional experience provided by Steven and his team.The whole process of getting married at the Riverside Glasshouse from start to finish was phenomenal. Several weeks on from our wedding we are still talking about what an all round perfect day it was. Quite simply put, if we could go back and do it all again we would not change a single thing. In addition to that we have had overwhelmingly positive feedback from our wedding guests who were bowled over by the venue, the food and the service. Steve and his team were outstanding from the beginning of the planning process right through to the end of the day itself. Every single guest was looked after and the whole day ran without us having to do anything - we were beautifully looked after, every need was anticipated (though never intrusively) and we both just sat back and had the best day of our lives! Steve and his team absolutely excel at what they do, thank you for giving us a day we shall never forget. From the moment we enquired, Steven was brilliant and we felt so looked after. Any questions we had were always answered quickly and we felt completely supported through the planning. The day ran like clockwork, everything went smoothly and all the staff on the day were brilliant - we couldn’t have asked for more. The food was amazing (we have guests still talking about it) and the venue gave us the relaxed atmosphere we were looking for with the added wow-factor of somewhere a bit different. We are so happy we chose the Riverside Glasshouse, thank you to all the staff! We had the best wedding day we could have wished for at the Riverside Glasshouse. The venue and location are stunningly beautiful, the food exquisite and the service we received second to none. It was absolutely fantastic! Steven and his team are the best and the whole day ran like clockwork. We didnt have to worry about anything and nothing was too much trouble. I really can't recommend them highly enough. Our 3 day of co-ordinators were out of this world! From having to get two brides down the aisle, to keeping our unconventional family and friends happy with our strange music tastes! The street food was phenomenal and I wish I had been a guest so I could have eaten more! This venue and the staff cannot get enough compliments and our family and friends couldn't stop gushing about you all afer the wedding! I think you guys were the highlight, not us, the brides! From start to finish our day was perfect. The security made us feel very important and the gents who did security were lovely! Our vendors had no issues accessing and conversing with the staff here. I'd like to give a special mention to the bar staff who worked on our wedding day, you guys were beyond fun and joyful, and I think you approved of our music choices as well! This is a top tier wedding venue and I wish I could gatekeep it and get married there all over again. We've definitely had the wedding of the decade thanks to the beautiful scenery and staff at this venue. Kerry and I honestly cannot thank you all enough, we had such a special day and we're glad all the staff that worked for our wedding worked that day. This is impossible, all of our weddings are amazing for different reasons but the most common is seeing our couples friends and family come together passing food around the table from our sociable dining menus as though they were at home, we want our guests to feel relaxed and remember the day for all of the right reasons.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start to visit venues as soon as you can & meet the people who will be looking after you, as that's when the majority of questions are answered... allowing you to start enjoying planning your special day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The singing waiters were amazing as the guests had no idea that the waiters who had been serving their drinks would burst into song, we did also have Chinese dancing dragons which was very impressive. Oh, also.. Who does not love a content creator..

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Amongst the tropical plants in our very own Botanical Garden is the best spot but photographers really are spoilt for choice in and around Jephson Gardens, lets not forget the iconic blue bridge shot... Don't forget your love lock...
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had a few but being professional, we won't share who but just so you know, every Client is a celebrity at The Riverside Glasshouse. We have also worked with many celebrities as Private Clients. In previous roles our MD Steven Holland has looked after the Queen on several occasions. We have also worked with several Celebrity Chefs along the way...
What’s your favourite canapé?
Arancini balls or maybe, Parma ham, mozzarella and sun-blushed tomato croûte or should I say vegan rainbow spring rolls (VG).... Hard to say, no sorry I can't make up my mind.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
All of our evening food is served "Street Food Style" with KFC - Korean Fried Chicken or maybe the meatballs marinara with short (no mess) spaghetti and parmesan, no messy buffets at The Riverside Glasshouse that your guests can't find...
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The views of the park and the riverside location are unbeatable and not many venues can boast their very own indoor botanical garden to hold ceremonies in or dance the night away in. Did you know that our aisle has it's very own pond and stunning plants from all over the world.
