The Reading Room is a beautiful and unique wedding venue set in picturesque English country gardens. Full of charm and character making it a truly special venue for a secluded intimate wedding surrounded by the stunning Norfolk countryside. As a family business, we pride ourselves in the care and attention we put into every special moment of your day.
Fully licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies, the venue seats 80 guests inside, where couples can marry in front of the majestic gothic leaded window or in the beautiful gardens, with additional guests welcome for the evening.
The magnificent walled gardens surround The Reading Room with an abundance of English flowers rich with wildlife. A meandering path through the woods leads to a pergola walkway covered in fragrant roses and honeysuckle. The lawns provide a perfect space for welcome drinks and canapes followed by fun garden games or just to sit and relax in the afternoon sun.
As a family run wedding venue, we are passionate about creating your 'happily ever after'. We work closely with our selected Norfolk caterers who will create a bespoke menu from table feasts, afternoon teas and street food to formal dining, delivering a first-class service.
The Reading Room creates a magical setting for your wedding day, with enchanting gardens and a truly special building.

The venue is beautiful and I was in awe from my first step onto the grounds. Jo made it so easy with pre-wedding meetings with pointers and help that made things run so smoothly.
