The Reading Room

Dear Jo & Simon, Thank you seems somewhat inadequate for your care and support of Rosie & Mikle's wonderful day on 17th August. Your venue fitted perfectly with Rosie and Mike's plans, it was perfect!​ We had such a lovely day and The Reading Room enabled privacy which inhanced the whole day. It's been nearly a week since our wedding & I still can't believe how totally perfect our day was!! Not only is The Reading Rooms a completely stunning venue to get married but Jo & Simon go above & beyond from start finish, you both made our day the most memorable we could of wished for! We honestly could not recommend the venue anymore! Thanks again Jo & Simon you made all our wedding dreams a reality!

​Beyond special. Not only is the venue stunning but the whole experience of planning and hosting our wedding here was a joy. Simon and Jo made it so easy for us and worked incredibly hard on the build up and the day to make everything perfect. Being able to set up the day before eliminated the wedding day stress and using their recommended suppliers made everything run smoothly. The guests were blown away by the place - it is truly one in a million. I only wish we could do it all again 💕

Thank you Thank you Thank you. We cannot thank Simon and Jo enough for all their help with our wedding at their beautiful venue. From booking two years ahead right up till the end it was totally stress free thanks to all Jo and Simon’s knowledge and help. We had the most perfect day despite the non stop heavy rain. From the moment we viewed The Reading room we knew it was the venue for us, It is the most beautiful venue and grounds and we wish we could do it all over again. Thank you again.

After viewing several other wedding venues we found the Reading Room online and looked no further - we fell in love on our first visit. Jo and Simon were both incredibly supportive and listened to our individual needs and wishes, this is something we found some other venues lacked. On top of this, the whole venue is immaculate, gardens included! Jo and Simon really did pull out all the stops and I cannot recommend the Reading Room enough!

We booked this venue for our April wedding and Simon and Jo were our guardian angels, they made sure everything went so smoothly and took all of the stress away on the day and even pack down the day after. I cannot recommend them enough as your venue.

We got married at The Reading Room in April 2024 and could not recommend it more! From the start of planning to the day after the wedding, Jo and Simon could not have been more helpful. Their lists of trusted suppliers make picking caterers, photographers and other vendors so simple and stressfree. The venue is just as beautiful in real life as it is in pictures - if not more so. If you are looking to get married somewhere intimate, a little bit country and full of love.

We cannot recommend the Reading Room highly enough. Our whole Wedding experience went so smoothly thanks in no small part to Jo and Simon who helped not just on the day but the afternoon before setting up and the morning after clearing down. The Venue and gardens are kept so beautifully with so many opportunities for photos! Thank you so much for being part of our special day!
