The Parlour at Blagdon

We just want to say a massive thankyou for the most perfect day. To every staff member who worked so hard to make sure everything went perfect, to Naomi for handling everything that came along the way and made sure nothing was too much and to Rachel for making sure from the second we arrived that morning that everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t have chose a better venue, the whole place and everything about it was perfect from start to finish. We are so glad we chose to spend our day here.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for making our day perfect, from the second we booked to the very last minute you have all been amazing. We definitely have no regrets about the venue we picked for our special day, it was absolutely perfect, we knew that from the second we set eyes on the place The staff were absolutely incredible and couldn't do enough for us, every single person that attended said the food was absolutely outstanding out of this world.

Where to start, we fell in love with this venue from the initial show around we knew we wanted to get married here all the contact for the venue was dealt throught the brilliant sale team who help us with all our questions and enquiries once the day of the wedding come all the amazing staff were to there to help with anything that we needed would just like to say a big hats off to the chefs the food was amazing and especially they accommodated us especially me and my husband who are really fussy Eaters all our guests complimented the food how brilliant it was especially the wood fire pizzas they were to die for. We had an outside area they had heaters to keep our guests warm especially for a cold January wedding I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to book it is stunning

After looking at a few venues we decided on the parlour at Blagdon and from the moment we arrived to first view the venue till we left the day after our wedding we were made to feel welcome, nothing we asked was too big of an ask and the amazing staff at the parlour went above and beyond to make our day everything we hoped for and more! The planning process was made so easy and relaxed, the night before staying in the beautiful house we were made to feel so welcome and at home and every minute of our big day we were looked after to the point where we didn’t have to think about anything but enjoying being in the moment! We can’t thank the fantastic team at the parlour enough for making our day one we will never forget! X

Me and James would just like to say the BIGGEST thank you to all of you. I don't actually have any words to describe just how beautiful our wedding day was at The Parlour. The whole team, were just incredible. She made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, made sure we knew what was happening and took care of things that were above and beyond her normal jobs. Everybody commented on how gorgeous The Parlour is and how amazing all of the food and drinks were.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at the Parlour for making mine and Georgia's wedding day so special! Ourselves and our guests had an amazing time and we can't thank you enough. From the help with nerves before the ceremony to the flawless service at dinner it was incredible! Please also pass along a particular message to the chefs that worked so hard on the meals, we have had so many great compliments from our friends and family about how amazing the food was.

Thank you so so much for all the help on our special day. I would like to mention personally the ladies that were working during the day were outstanding and amazing. Please send my apologies to them for the one awkward customer they had on the day that had to be removed. I’m so sorry I can’t remember their names however they were o amazing and very professional. Could not be more helpful. I will certainly be leaving good reviews anyone commented on how fantastic the venue staff and food were.

The Parlour in Blagdon is one of the best places to get married in Northumberland full stop. The staff are professional, fastidious and very quick to respond. The flexibility was amazing. Me and my partner requested a BBQ meal in November (in the snow no less) and they were able to provide, as well as looking after our pooch during the ceremony. The food was absolutely amazing with both the daytime and evening food blowing us away and we'd consider ourselves foodies. The evening entertainment was excellent too with the DJ willing to accomodate the various music tastes at the party. The price was also VERY generous considering we'd seen venues half as good charge over 3 times the price. Its an absolute steal of a location and I would recommend this place to ANYONE who wants a nice venue.

The Parlour wasn’t our first viewed venue, but it was our last. When we first viewed the venue we were walked around the whole site and then sat down and asked what it was we wanted from our day, we gave our ideas and they were completely honest in what would work what wouldn’t work and how they would help to make them work. Honouring my father who’s passed was so important to me for my day and the team helped in that so much , from giving ideas to how to do it to offering ways they could help to make it happen. Naomi helped us all the way through the planning process right through till the end of the wedding along side Rachel who helped us set the room the day before and was on hand in the bridal suite from the second we arrived the morning of the wedding. The whole team were attentive, friendly, kind, and most importantly happy to be there and happy to help. They had big smiles all day and no ask was too much for them, they kept our day running smooth without any issues and made it all go over without a single bump in the road. We really did have the most perfect day from start to finish thanks to the staff at this beautiful venue. The venue itself is perfectly aesthetic and beautiful and has honestly made our pictures even better than they could have been thanks to there attention to detail they have put into setting up and maintaining the place. Genuinely wish we could do it all again. Can never thank them all enough.
