We had the best experience with the Old Rectory and would get married there again in a heartbeat. Becky is the most amazing person you'll meet, I don't think our experience would have been the same without her. She was amazing from the first enquiry to us checking out after getting married. Her attention to detail is incredible, her kindness, helpfulness and she's just an amazing human being. Our day ran perfectly thanks to her. The food was incredible, the menu choices were some of the best and most varied we came across. And for such fair pricing the food was so so so above that. We had so much praise from guests and other professionals (photographer) regarding the food, venue and Becky! Rooms were great especially to have immediate family, lovely breakfast to enjoy. The bridal suite was modern and charming. The conservatory hardly needed any doing up, with the hotel providing hoops, the pillars etc. We added some extra bits but it just felt ready regardless and we loved the ease and simplicity of this. The gardens were one big thing I wanted and they were stunning, great photo backdrops and excellent to spread guests out during the day. I was pregnant by the time our postponed date came, and Becky went out of her way to get me alcohol free bubbly and she got us a little gift with a photo which we loved. Nothing was too much and we felt in such safe hands. I gave Becky an idea of what I wanted set up wise and she utilised all my bits and bobs to transform the room for us. Her and her team are brilliant, so reach out and get in touch as you won't be disappointed. We hope to come back soon for a meal and overnight stay. The Rectory is the most perfect venue. Beautiful summer's day in August for our wedding. The morning was spent by the pool, swimming, relaxing and sipping champagne. The conservatory was beautifully decorated for the ceremony and meal. Great outdoors space for balmy summer evening. The staff especially Becky were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything ran smoothly even when we lost the mother of the bride for a little while. We booked the whole venue for the weekend. Rooms were very comfortable and tailored to our needs, doubles, twins and family rooms. The whole day was incredible. Just what we wanted. Comfortable place, great food and amazing loved ones. We had our wedding reception there on Thursday 3rd February. They could have not been more helpful right from the time of booking. The food was excellent and the staff were absolutely brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. They made our day prefect for us. Wow! My daughter had her wedding here on the 17th September 2022. All the staff were 1st class, nothing was too much for them. Becky(the wedding planner), was fantastic right from the 1st time we met her up to and including the day. She was determined to make their day perfect for them and she succeeded. Always keeping in touch with them throughout the last nine months and reassuring both my daughter and son in law everything was going to be right on the day. Becky even went above and beyond on the day when my husband was panicking he had no cuff links for his shirt. She came back with a pair that had been borrowed from the owner.
