We pride ourselves on attention to detail, which enables us to give you the day of your dreams. We don’t believe in over filing the venue, ensuring that it is spacious and comfortable for you and your guests. The importance of open space has never seemed more essential. We have expansive and picturesque areas both inside and outside the venue, giving you all the room you need. At The Oaks Barn we can accommodate up to 160 guests maximum by the evening.

Fantastic Woodland Wedding and Rustic Barn Location

I don't know where to begin to say how perfect the team at The Oaks made our day for us. There are probably too many things I could manage to mention so I've tried to list a few of the key highlights for us. The first is the venue location itself, set in a stunning countryside location surrounded by woodland, fields and the lake, its just perfect. Furthermore, the building itself is beautiful and fabulously maintained. I'd also like to add that everything was spotless. This includes the venue itself, the outside, the furniture and decor, and the bar, glasses etc. The team were great and there were many staff on hand to help for our day. Julie, Rianna and a number of other team members were present throughout the whole day ensuring the specifics of the day went perfectly to plan. We opted for the additional foliage package and it was definitely worth it. Rianna is incredibly skillful with these decorations on the tables, foliage archway and ceremony decorations were perfect. I could also see how much effort and time was put into organising these and it was really much appreciated and it all looks fantastic on the photos. The partnership with Ridgway Caterers definitely works! We received so much feedback from guests about how much they loved both the wedding breakfast and the evening food. I think it helps that there is a long-standing relationship between the venue and the caterers that makes this whole process absolutely seamless. We'd also like to thank the team for making our dream of and outside woodland wedding come true. We felt like they were as excited and invested in making this happen for us as we were and it was just beautiful! It was also great to have the opportunity to go to the venue the day before to set up and not have to worry about collecting all our things at the end of the night as we could go back the next day to collect these (we had manage to accumulate a lot of things over the day and the team did a great job of collating everything for us to collect the next morning). I can't not leave a review without mentioning the swings and the alpacas! I think a lot of the adult guests had as much fun swinging away and getting snaps of the alpacas as my two year old niece did! We had a fantastic day in an amazing venue. I wish we could do it all again. Thank You!

Fabulous Venue

The Oaks is such a stunning, incredible venue! We booked our wedding with them 18 months before the big day and they were so helpful from day one. They communicated everything and were so helpful and understanding. In the lead up, I arranged to go in and trial some table decor ideas which was super helpful. We had a meeting to run through the order of the day about a month before which helped to put us at ease before the day. Rianna and Julie made every step of the planning process a dream. On the day, Anna was the venue coordinator and made everything so easy and the day ran so smoothly. So many of our guests commented what a beautiful venue it is and the alpacas even came up to the fence to join the wedding reception. Thank you so much!

The Dreamiest Wedding venue

My husband and I are still absolutely beaming at how perfect our wedding was! From the minute we viewed this venue we knew it was absolutely perfect for us. The secluded, rustic woodland barn is so different from anything else locally. As a couple, you are made to feel so special. From a private, personal viewing. To being the only wedding booked all weekend. This means you have time the day before to set up and the day after to clear up
