Your Moorland Wedding experience begins way before your special day. From the first point of contact with us, our dedicated wedding coordinator, working in perfect harmony with The Moorland, will be with you every step of the way. We encourage you to come visit, view our magnificent Hotel & Inn, and see for yourself what we can offer, and meet the people who will be by your side all the way from planning, until you depart us after your wedding. Enjoy a Wedding Menu tasting with us, where you can decide on what you, and your guests will be enjoying on the day. Our chef's know how special food is to people, and are on hand to ensure your day is complimented by a menu which reflects you both, what you love, and any dietary requirements can be catered for. The Dartmoor Suite is the perfect setting to say 'I do', before making your way into our fairy-lit Secret Garden, as we turn the room around for your evening reception. Once the evening begins, enjoy the Suite with your own fully stocked bar, and dedicated bar staff who will be running it for you. We also have available the canopy in our incredible landscaped gardens, or the conservatory. Enjoy your first night as one, in your complimentary Honeymoon Suite. Located on the second floor, overlooking our gardens and it's acres of land, It features a superking bed which will have you feeling like royalty, a seating area, and premium en-suite facilities to name a few.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in Devon, you should look no further than the Moorland Hotel. We got married here very recently and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. Amazing food, quality service from the team. Nothing was too much trouble for either us or our guests. The venue itself is beautiful and the rooms are generous and well decorated. This hotel is now ‘our’ hotel and we will be back to visit at any given opportunity.If you are looking for a wedding venue in Devon, you should look no further than the Moorland Hotel. Wow what can I say but thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making our wedding day run so smoothly. Dani the manager was amazing from start to finish. Our guests left so happy after their stay and I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you are planning your wedding. The food was gorgeous, staff so friendly and helpful and our wedding was simply perfect!! Everyone was catered for and our stay was just so perfect. Wonderful gathering place for weddings and celebrations, or just because you want to wander the moors by day and eat, sleep and drink well by night. Beds comfortable and heated towel rack. Lovely hotel. Dog friendly & walking distance of Haytor. Super grounds ideal wedding venue. Food nice. Good selection of food costing around £16 to £20+ for mains. Good selection of drinks at the sort of price you would expect at a nice hotel. Lots of outdoor seating areas. I had a dog friendly room which was not huge but nicely furnished & clean. French doors opened onto a patio area with seating. Fridge, tea coffee facilities in the bedrooms.Iron & ironing board. Fluffy robe, slippers, soap, hLovely hotel. We've known this hotel for many years. Our daughter had her wedding reception here and we've visited many times. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. The Moorland hosted our wedding on the 8th of October, and it was simply perfect! The staff were exceptional throughout the weekend, nothing was too much trouble and they ran such a smooth operation for our wedding day. A particular mention to Danielle, who led the planning, coordination and delivery of our wedding and did so flawlessly, we are so grateful for her patience, guidance and support, she truly made the day so special for us and we could not have asked for more.
