Describe the best wedding that happened at The Mansefield Hotel?
My most recent favourite would be one last May, which felt like a Party from the moment they booked.
Their guests were there to support & celebrate their marriage and all out to have a good time. Live music during the day, and even had a Saxophonist play as the Bride & Groom danced to their Top Table for their meal.
We've had many fun weddings and I feel I get quite attached as you work with the couple from the moment they come in for their first meeting and you're there to watch their last dance on their Wedding Day.
I never get tired of seeing Photos or catching up with the couples when they are next in visiting the hotel either for Dinner, Drinks or attending a friend's Wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book the venue, book the band, and book the place/person you want to marry you first, then get your Dress!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We do so many personal touches from transporting a wedding guest to the church when they were left behind, to sewing up the brides dress after the bestman stood on it at the dance, even to laundering a bridesmaids dress after an unfortunate drink spillage! We go the extra mile to ensure everyone has an amazing day.

Where’s the best photo spot at The Mansefield Hotel?
The Hotel has many hidden locations for Photos but some photographers seem to have the perfect eye to capture the beauty of the Venue and use all the spots available.
The Classic is the Grand Stairs at the front of the Hotel - Gorgeous location to get in all the guests.
However, recently I've loved the internal original Manse Stairs, photographer looking down on the Couple's to capture an intimate moment.

Our Chefs can be quite creative depending on the season Canapes can vary and a more recently popular choice has been Whipped Goats Cheese with homemade Apple Chutney where we incorporated the Hotel's own grown Apples

Butcher Mini Pies

The residents bar can stay open by prior arrangement until 2am, which stocks over 200 Whiskies
