Our professional events team is headed up by Lisa, the Events Manager, who works closely with Katie Taylor MBE (owner). Whether it’s a wedding, corporate or private party, the team has a wealth of experience and shares Katie’s passion, values and attention to detail. From your initial enquiry through to event, you can rest assured that we will deliver a personal service, with creative expertise. Catering is offered for up to 150 seated dining guests, and up to 200 evening guests, with our own in-house team of chefs who are proud to deliver exceptional food and service, with creative, seasonal and delicious menus. The Drewton Estate is privately owned with 1200 acres of farmland and woodland on the edge of the famous Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is home to the award-winning Drewton’s Farm Shop and boasts delightful residential properties, including two five-star holiday cottages. With stunning views, guests are wowed by the beautiful location, overlooking the fields and hills, where they can sit under the stars and enjoy the Boma outdoor seating area and fire pit, which is a nod to the Taylor family’s love of Africa. The Manor Rooms has been sympathetically built with luxurious interiors, ticking the box for both rustic and elegant themes. The venue features fabulous chandeliers and lighting; exposed stone walls; bespoke upholstered chairs; a choice of table and seating design; and a wood floor with underfloor heating, bringing the beautiful countryside to the interiors.

Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we honestly cannot thank the team enough for giving us the most incredible day of our lives. The staff were absolutely amazing. Every single person was so kind, friendly, professional and genuinely cared about making our day everything we had dreamed of. They made us feel so relaxed and reassured throughout the whole process, and on the day itself we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Knowing everything was in such safe hands meant we were able to completely switch off, enjoy every moment and make memories that will last a lifetime. Everything was organised to perfection. The day flowed seamlessly from beginning to end, and every little detail happened exactly how we had planned it. It honestly felt like the team knew what we needed before we even had to ask. The manor rooms went out of their way to support us with every aspect of our wedding. From table decorations, flexible drinks packages and excellent dietary requirement options. The staff are kind, professional and very quick to respond; both beforehand and on the day itself. Lisa and her team were able to attend to our every need. They were brilliant with family accessibility needs. It is a beautiful venue and an excellent back drop for photographs. SO many evening guests commented on the quality of the evening food, stating it was the best they had ever had. The day food was equally excellent. The planning process was smooth and we were put at ease every step of the way. We highly recommend this venue. The manor rooms went out of their way to support us with every aspect of our wedding. Lisa and the team were amazing from day one we walked in and felt welcome and comfortable in the gorgeous setting. The team were so accommodating with every request with quick and clear responses. Help and advice was given in a kind helpful way. The service staff were amazing at moving decorations, tables ect to make room for the evening entertainment it was so discreet you hardly noticed it happening. The food was out of this world and wedding guest keep telling me how good it was weeks after. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue or team to host our big day Lisa and the team were amazing from day one we walked in and felt welcome and comfortable in the gorgeous setting. "Thank you so much for making our day so special" The venue and food were exceptional but most of all Lisa the Events Manager and the teams attention to detail support were second to none. Lisa made the whole process seamless and stress free. What an outstanding team of people and venue. The team (Lisa, Carl and Natalie) made us feel so welcome and special from our first meeting till the day after our event. They supported us and helped make decisions from napkins, to meal, all the way to centre pieces. They really do it all. Whe faced with overwhelming choice the team really help make it manageable. We opted to use their expert eyes to make our day special and that they did! Lisa has an outstanding eye for detail that picks up everything and she ensures that it is sorted no matter how big or small. We cannot express how thankful we are to the full team. The Manor Rooms is the perfect wedding venue for so many reasons. Stunning buildings, beautiful landscape, the kindest team and absolutely delicious food (oh, the food!!). We had our big day in September 2025 and would recommend The Manor Rooms to every engaged couple. The team were so knowledgeable, kind, patient and understanding right from the first meeting. No issue was too big or too small. For a venue who hosts so many events (not just weddings) they truly do allow you to play YOUR day, how you want it. With a designated on the day coordinator (big love to Katy, who was absolutely fabulous), we honestly didn't have a thing to worry about. Every detail was taken care of and every team member was helpful and kind to all of our guests. Now the food...hands down, some of the best wedding food we have ever eaten. Every single guest has raved about the whole package from the canapes, the 3 course meal and the pulled pork evening sandwiches. It was such a difficult decision to narrow down our choices because the whole menu sounds incredible. We also stayed at Kettlethorpe cottage which is beautifully set out and fit our needs perfectly.
