Set in the leafy surroundings of Queen’s quarter in Belfast, the charming 4 star Malone Hotel offers an exceptional experience for each couple, hosting only one wedding per day.
From you first make contact, right through to when you check out following your dream wedding day, the experienced wedding team will be on hand to guide you through every step of planning. The teams’ care and attention to every detail reflects the award winning standards of the hotel which has family at its core for over 25 years.
After your red carpet arrival you and your guests are invited to kick start the celebrations in the hotel’s beautiful lobby and Macklin’s Bar. The hotel is an approved venue for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies in their new and enchanting Malone Suit, which can hold up to 130 guests. The setting is a romantic and intimate space where you can exchange your solemn vows as you begin your life together in front of your family and friends.
The elegant Deramore Suite boasts space for up to 180 guests. There is a private bar and permanent dance floor with a unique sound shower ceiling, which means the music is concentrated over the dance floor allowing your other guests to chat with ease elsewhere in the suite.
Your guests can enjoy a prime location and a choice of 71 rooms and suites with free car parking and complimentary wifi, as well as homemade a la carte Irish breakfast. The hotel is located on Eglantine Avenue in the South of the city with fantastic transport links to all motorways, as well as rail and bus links.

We had to change our date 3 times in the end, Katie and the team were so adaptable and nothing was too much trouble. Full of reassurance and solutions. Our day was so beautiful thanks to Katie, her team and the venders we used. Anything at all we needed or wanted we turned and staff were there for us and our guests. The team went above and beyond to tend to our every desire and just made it the most special and relaxing day. From adding little touches to rooms or for the children attending, any idea We had they helped make it a reality. The food was also a massive highlight of the day. So many guests came and complimented us on such a wonderful meal and evening buffet. We would do our wedding all over again if We could and we would absolutely choose The Malone Hotel again. Our wedding day was the most important thing to us, and The Malone absolutely made us feel like it was the most important thing to them. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Arrived on the Friday before the wedding and was warmly greeted and made to feel at home until Sunday. We had got married abroad but wanted to have an evening with family and friends when we returned. Our events manager, Katie, had listened to what we wanted and put in place a great package which we were able to add some extras to just before the event, the room and DJ were supplied as part of the package. They supplied a small intimate room where we had a blessing and then a drinks reception for the arrival of the guests. The room for the main event looked fantastic, and they even played our wedding video on two large screens so that all our guests could see the wedding in Mexico. The food was delicious, served quickly and everything was the right temperature. The Duty Manager for that evening made sure everything ran smoothly and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Malone Lodge Hotel, they did an excellent job!We had booked the Malone Lodge for our Wedding Celebration on 22nd September 2017.
