The Lawrence Hotel

From first speaking to Mike at the wedding open day we attended when we’d first got engaged to the morning after our beautiful wedding day, the whole team at The Lawrence were just amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more from them, they were always quick to respond when I had any queries and were so understanding and patient with us when we wanted to make some changes. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and made us and all of our guests feel so comfortable. Our day was absolutely perfect, just how we wanted it. All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the beautiful venue and food. I would highly recommend this venue to anybody looking for their perfect wedding day.

Everything was just amazing. The staff were so attentive, professional and friendly. Their attention to detail and willingness to go that little extra was so special. They dealt with any minor hiccups promptly, discreetly and always with a smile. From the food to the decor and flowers and the million little touches. It was a magnificent day and we are so happy we chose the Lawrence for our special day. Thank you to Mike and the team for everything.

We booked our wedding back in 2021 with Michael, who was absolutely amazing, he went through everything with us, his words was “it will come round so quick” little did we know it actually did, the build up to the wedding and along the way we met Alison & nadine the wedding coordinators who both was also amazing, kept us reassured about the order of the day and how they’ll be at the wedding to ensure everything runs smoothly, the ladies and josh (the manager) really was the ones who got us through it all, I would definitely recommend getting married at the Lawrence, the venue it’s self is stunning, and having kind, hard working staff is even better! The day of our wedding really was one of the best days of our life’s, big thank you to all staff we will be forever grateful for everything they’ve done.

We got married here and had a wonderful time. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it !

We had the best day ever. The attention to detail was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Michael and Alison were amazing.

What a day. The standard of service was excellent. Nothing was too much, food was delicious and atmosphere was exceptional.

My daughter had her wedding here on Good Friday. It is the perfect venue for a smaller wedding. We had 40 guests during the day and a few more joined at night. The hotel is lovely. We stayed the night before and had a family meal. Food is fabulous. Rooms are comfortable and there is a guest kitchen area if you want to have a simple breakfast or put anything in the fridge eg champagne for the bridal party while we were getting ready!

Absolutely fantastic venue, location & service all round for my best friends wedding. Mike & his team were fantastic. Highly recommended for a small wedding or event or even a little get away. Food was AMAZING x Thank you all so much xxxxxxx

The Lawrence Hotel is a really beautiful place to stay. We have literally found a “ little gem “ . Michael and his staff are simply wonderful, not only respectful towards us they actually cared that we, me and my husband and our friends enjoyed our stay. The rooms are immaculate, the food delicious. Tony and I renewed our vows here at The Lawrence on 12th February. It was such an amazing day/evening and we thoroughly recommend this beautiful venue for forthcoming celebrations.
