- KKatie & Rory12/09/2024Perfect WeddingPerfect WeddingWe had a lovely day in this beautiful venue. It's small and intimate and was perfect for us. We had 65 guests and the restaurant was still open to the public but we didn't notice this at all, it didn't affect the day whatsoever. We booked all the bedrooms for our guests, they were clean comfortable and spacious and breakfast was delicious. Staff on the day were fantastic and really made it the perfect day for us. Views over the lake were beautiful, food was delicious. Not really anything we can fault. The only thing was that our candles weren't lit before we sat down to eat, I set up room myself so potentially my fault for not leaving clear instructions but just a reminder to check the room is how you want it beforehand. Overall a lovely day, perfect for us! We had a lovely day in this beautiful venue. It's small and intimate and was perfect for us. - SSamantha & Kal05/09/2024Sunset DreamSunset DreamWhere do I even start, we originally had a venue booked for Liverpool city centre, however 6 months before our wedding day we found out our venue had been gone into administration and our wedding would not be going ahead. I was beside my self, I started frantically emailing venues all over Liverpool, it was a Friday morning I was certain I wouldn't hear from anyone until atleast Monday, and the first person to respond to me probably no longer than 30 mins later was the lovely Natalie from the lake house, and by that Sunday she had showed me around the venue and we were booked in, and honestly we never looked back. Natalie was so easy to talk to, she worked so well with our budget and the vibe we wanted for the day and I loved our meetings and chats. Our actual wedding day 30th August, honestly it just exceeded every single expectation I had, Nat and the team could not of done enough for us that day, everyone was happy, helpful and seemed genuinely enthusiastic to be apart of our day. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, attention to details was amazing, keeping my 18 month old fed and happy, members of the team on the floor playing petals with her, finding her suncream as it ended up being such a hot day, these little things while getting married with a small child took meant so much to me, I couldn’t recommended The Lake House any more if I tried, our day was a dream, we were blessed with the most incredible sunshine all day, we live not far and it’s somewhere we visit weekly and it really is such a special place even more so when the sun is shining, our guests all said it was their favourite wedding they’ve been to, it was so relaxed and ran perfectly all day (even though I was 30 mins late). I really wish we could do it all again, Thank you so much Nat and team. - KKirsty and Paul30/08/2024My wedding day My wedding dayWow, what can I say? My day was amazing. Started to finish everything I asked for was to perfection. I wanted was no trouble for the staff at all from booking in early the day before so I didn’t have to bring my wedding dress home. And for them commentating for my family and their needs as well they could’ve done more Natalie and her team are fantastic and I would recommend them to all my family and friends for more parties and get together in the future the food was amazing and hot and I look forward to going back as only live down the road the lake house will always have a special place in my hart and I wish them nothing but the best for the future Wow, what can I say? My day was amazing. Started to finish everything I asked for was to perfection. They made our whole wedding experience from start to finish an absolute dream! People commented on how ‘chill’ we both were on the run up to the wedding and on the actual day and we honestly believe it’s because we knew we were in safe hands. Not only is the venue stunning with views (especially sunsets) to die for and delicious food but the staff are so attentive, organised and genuinely care! We felt this from our very first meeting with Natalie which led us to book it pretty much straight away, not even wanting to view any other venue… when you know you know! We are local to the area and super proud to have the Lake House on our doorstep. I used to describe it as a hidden gem but I finally think it’s getting the praise and recognition it deserves thanks, again, to their amazing staff! The staff were amazing from start to finish and I can’t thank them enough for making their day “extra” special. Food was fabulous. The Hotel rooms are spacious and vary depending on occupants. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. They helped make our day extra special, we couldn’t have pulled off our last minute without all their help. The rooms were lovely and spacious, very clean and comfortable. All the guests commented on lovely the food was. The LakeHouse will now always hold a special place in our hearts and we can’t thank all the staff enough.
