In truth it has taken me this long to put into words how perfect our day was. But lets start with before the wedding. Elise, the events manager at the Joshua Bradley and Bluebell suite is fantastic at absolutely everything. She steered us in the right direction in terms of food and drinks package. She made sure we knew absolutely everything about how the day would run to our chosen time frames. Then the day of truth arrived. Elise coordinated the day to perfection. literally not a single hitch on our day! She was always on hand to make sure I knew what was next and to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She even walked one of our flower girls down the isle when she got stage fright <3! Next the staff. Every single member of staff were fabulous in every single way. They were so helpful and ready to take direction from my maid of honour with my particular change requirements for the evening. They helped make our day so intimate, friendly and fun. They even got involved with a little competition in the evening to get an oops upside the head record! The look of the bluebell suite is romantic and rustic, which was perfect for our rustic themed wedding. The hay loft was stunning for our ceremony with minimal decoration. The actually bluebell suite was absolutely stunning again with minimal decoration outside of the usual centrepieces. The food for our wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious! And the portions were brilliant for even the biggest appetites. Our days guest struggled to eat at the evening reception they were that stuffed from the day! The bridal suite was a lovely little touch that we got as part of our package. it meant we had a 1 minute trip around the corner to our very own 4 poster bed and en suite and whirlpool bath to finish the day off! Just when you think it can't get even more perfect we had a beautiful fruit and pastry breakfast served at 9am on the dot. I literally don't have a single bad word to say about a single thing. I would do every single thing exactly as we did it over and over! Food was delicious,all our guests were very happy with the food and the evening buffet went down a treat. We will never forget riccardo the manger at the time,he couldn’t have been more hands on and helpful. Always making sure we was happy and everything was going to plan. Perfect day! What a day!! We wouldn’t change a thing. The venue was perfect,grounds are beautiful for pictures. Food was delicious,all our guests were very happy with the food and the evening buffet went down a treat. It has everything you could want for an intimate wedding - from the character of the oak beamed ceremony room to the stunning private garden, complete with pond and ducks. The whole experience from start to finish was flawless. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were really flexible to allow us to have our wedding exactly as we wanted. The only really difficult part was choosing the menu. Phenomenal is the only word to describe the food! I've never known a venue before that can produce food of that consistent quality on such a large scale. And service went like clockwork. Amazing!
