We used the beautiful upstairs room for a dedication service for my grandson followed by an afternoon tea. Everyone at the venue was so helpful and couldn’t have made us more welcome, accommodating all our requests and generally just being on hand when we needed them. I can’t recommend this venue highly enough and we will certainly be returning in the future! Thank you Shires Oast!!This is such a perfect setting for a multitude of events! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Impossible! Each wedding is so unique leaving us with so many amazing moments from every wedding. From the Basil Fawlty impersonators, fantastic Fireworks displays to the amazing guests themselves.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember it is your day. If you are feeling a little overwhelmed or stressed get in contact with your wedding coordinator. We can help get things in to place over a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I personally will always appreciate the memory tables of loved ones that couldn't be there on the day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
In front of the venue as you walk back up the aisle if getting married outside. Its historic.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Many famous acts from across the world performing at Hop Farm Concerts - Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Elton John, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, Grace Jones, Squeeze, 10CC to name a few
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our mini Yorkshire puddings with beef and horseradish! Definitely a wedding favourite.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Now and again Chef will leave us with a bit of dessert to eat after shift and the Chocolate and Orange Torte is always fought after. Its Vegan, Gluten free and just AMAZING.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Beams inside the venue and the Oast Cowls. They are the white hooded part of the roof that turn dependent on the direction of the wind.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our team. We are lucky enough to have a team behind us that help make each wedding special, from our chefs to waiters.
