We offer our customers a magical space, something totally unique and unlike no other. We offer you a warm, friendly welcome, quality time and endless support through your journey - our goal is for your special day to be solely about you and we will work with you and your families to ensure that goal is achieved.
The joint owners, Lesley and Trish, work closely with independent celebrants and registrars to celebrate unity in all its forms. At the Flint Room, there is no discrimination as absolutely everyone is welcome. Whether it be your wedding, renewing your vows, hosting a baby naming ceremony, a memorial services or celebrating your loved one’s life we will make sure your special day is one to remember.
A little piece of history... the building’s former name was St John De Sepulchre (also St John The Theologian) and was situated close to one of old Norwich’s City gates. It may very well be the best known of all the Norwich churches and rides high on the bluff of Ber Street. The top of its tower was once the highest point in the city.
So what are you waiting for…….. the former Church has now been lovingly brought back to life by a small, very enthusiastic, creative and passionate team with the full support of Norwich Historic Churches Trust.

The Flint Room was created with love in mind. Each bespoke piece was chosen, cherished and bought with the sole purpose of making it the most unique venue in Norwich. No one is turned away from the Flint Room as we believe love is love no matter what. So quirky and brilliantly decorated with loads of interesting items everywhere you look. Fabulous centre area for vows etc and lights twinkling all around. Linsey wonderful and so organised.
