Preferential Room Rates for Your Staying Guests
We can offer an exclusive bed and breakfast rate for your wedding guests. You can be assured a ceremony to remember at The Diplomat Hotel, with a choice of luxurious function suites accommodating up to 300 guests, you can move seamlessly from your vows to your drink’s reception.
The Diplomat Hotel is fully licensed to hold your civil ceremony in style. We recommend that you contact the local registrar to arrange the availability, details, and other legalities.
It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to contact the registrar to arrange their ceremony details and to provide legal notice of intent to marry.
Please be aware that there is a charge by the registrar which is payable direct to their offices for civil ceremonies

She listened to what we wanted and had envisaged and that's exactly what she gave us. It was a beautiful setting, made perfect with great staff and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere! Julie is so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. She is absolutely fabulous at her role. It's clear to see she really cares about her guests and customers. ..... We can't wait to have our wedding Reception there! Even down to the lovely ladies on reception, so helpful and welcoming. Isobella was wonderful too , so attentive and funny. Sheldon has been absolutely amazing in the organising...My husband to be and I came to dinner with his parents. The food and service were phenomenal. Julie is so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. She is absolutely fabulous at her role. It's clear to see she really cares about her guests and customers. ..... There was plenty of space for 11 girls to get wedding ready. We booked the 4 rooms around the bridal suite so felt we had an entire wing to ourselves! It felt very private. We had breakfast delivered to the room - plenty of fruit, toast and pastries, as well as hot food to order. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Once we were ready there was plenty of natural light for photographs.I stayed in the bridal suite - the room is very big and the bathroom is massive!
