As the Groom, I had a hard time trying to help with ideas for our wedding going by separate ideas like costumes, themes, flowers, entertainment, etc. It wasn't until I saw the Crystal Maze Experience being open for weddings that it felt like I had got all the edge pieces of a puzzle put into place all at once. As someone that has taken part in weddings at the hotel I worked at, I knew when it came to ours, I wanted something interesting.
It's surprising that a venue all by itself can set the tone for events, and more than anything, the Crystal Maze Experience venue sets the tone to fun.
I tend to be the kind of person that has others in mind above myself, which is a very strange attitude for my own wedding, but the fact that anyone that is willing and able can take part in this experience you could only expect from the television show itself, is perfect for someone like me that above all else wants everyone to come back and remember this not just as a wedding but an amazing and fun experience that only this venue can provide.
I cannot thank our crew behind the scenes enough for allowing us to use this space for our special day, special thanks to Naivette Henriquez who was solid as a rock all throughout planning and through the wedding itself, words can not describe how greatful I am for her incredible work. It was also an honour to find out that we were (technically) the first official wedding for the venue. Hearing everyone say that it was the best wedding they had ever been to is perhaps the greatest compliment I could give this venue.
If you are up for the challenge, ready to be locked in for life, get ready to run down the Isle, crystals and rings in hand, and be ready for the greatest wedding the maze of life will ever offer you.
Forget your Will-You-Marry-Mes, It's all about "Will you start the fans, please?"
Thank you all so much.
