Great affordable hotel, with amazing talented professional!

After researching various venues and hotels, I made the decision to have my birthday party at the Crown Hotel in Cricklewood, and now I have no doubts that was the best I could have done. Betty, the events manager, was exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our event. She was super patient with all our questions during the planning process and during the days just prior to our event, she even gave us useful tips to decorate the room with even less money we ever dreamed off! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better professional to make our day the most amazing day ever. Betty and her F&B team were and are absolute professionals, experienced but also so sweet, down to earth and personable! Thank you Betty, we love you and we are forever grateful!

Simply the best wedding venue in London!

What an amazing venue! Beautiful place for a wedding. I really hope we are invited to another event here. Every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. The food was amazing, the service even better, but nothing beats the atmosphere of the place.

Unsafe, run down hotel - they ruined our wedding.

The hotel is unsafe, run down, and the new management ruined our wedding. They turned it into a shambles. I spent the day stressed and running around trying to fix everything. Our other wedding suppliers told us they had never seen an event so poorly managed. Nearly £1,800 worth of items missing from our wedding package. No management in sight to fix the many issues on the day. The bar wasn’t stocked properly and closed at 10.30pm, even through we paid for a late bar. My personal belongings were damaged, including our personalised cake topper. Hotel staff were throwing it round in the kitchen and messing about with it. The bedrooms were run down and we had two nights of disturbed sleep. It was noisy and the sound proofing is non existent. We had someone walk into our room and turn the lights on before 8am, even though we had the do not disturb sign on. The fire doors were propped open and the fire exit into the alley way was blocked. The hotel had a fire not long after we finished our stay. Air con/ heating has been broken for months. The event room and the bedrooms were over 30 degrees. The hotel manager was was dismissive of my complaints and kept making excuses, even though I have evidence for each point. We have accepted a 40% refund from the hotel due to the stress they have caused us. However, we have not received a proper apology from the wedding coordinator. Avoid this hotel and don’t make the same mistake we did.
