All of our guests raved about the whole day and we have to agree. From start to finish the staff were amazing. Sarah Jane is amazing at her job and the staff who worked on the day were brilliant and so friendly and approachable. I would advise everyone to consider The Busby Hotel for their wedding. We had our wedding here in October and all I can say is that the Busby is one of the best wedding venues I've been to. All of our guests raved about the whole day and we have to agree. From the very first time I visited on an open day I knew it was the venue for us, it was just perfect. Then upon meeting Sarah Jane the wedding co-ordinator, this 100% sealed the deal. She was just amazing from start to finish, offering help wherever needed. All our family highly rated our choice of venue on the wedding day, saying that all the staff were so delightful and pleasant, nothing was an inconvenience. Martin would like to say a special thanks to Gary who took care of him on the morning of the wedding, making sure he had a pint of Tennents to calm any nerves. Also special thanks to Margo, who was a great help with Martin's Gran. Everything about this hotel was 5*, rooms- perfect, food- amazing, cleanliness- spot on, service- outstanding. I cannot wait to come back for an overnight as Husband & Wife. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they really do go above and beyond to make the day special and stress free. Sarah Jane and her team have this down to a fine art so the event just flows naturally. Was everything we wanted and more! You don't need to look anywhere else just forget the rest of them. My new wife and I were married yesterday in a beautiful venue with a flawless ceremony and reception. The venue is beautiful from the reception area to the Cartside to the balcony and even the toilets. All our guests were blown away with how the venue looked both inside and out and couldn't stop complimenting how everything looked for the wedding and how amazing their rooms were. Simply put the hotel is stunning. The Staff? Where do we begin? Sarah Jane our wedding coordinator was amazing from day one and was actually one of the main reasons we decided to go with the Busby. We went to a wedding fare and came across some right snobby pretentious smug coordinators who were expecting people to entrust such a massive part of their lives to them and My wife and I were ready for giving up, but then we met Sarah Jane. She is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for SJ from the beggining of the planning process to sourcing flowers the night before the wedding because we had forgotten about them and sorting out a huge technical drama the week before which wasn't even the wedding teams fault. She is the definition of above and beyond and loves what she does. If that wasn't enough to sell you on this place then allow me to continue. Jodie our Master of Ceremonies was always smiling and laughing and he made us feel at ease the whole day. We were also let down yesterday by some of our guests and quick as a flash with some coordinating with my groomsmen the tables were fixed and adjusted and we didn't even know it had been done until after the meal. Flawless all day. The Staff on the floor who were waiting on our tables were bubbly but professional they made our day better every step of the way and done themselves and the hotel proud with the service they provided. Special thanks go to Margo who was given the unfortunate job of waiting on our top table (joking) she was great with us all constantly making sure we had everything we needed and wanted and I think she had as much fun as we did. The food was beautiful. The Staff were amazing. The drinks were kept flowing. The night was perfect. Look no further you will not regret it. We had the most amazing day/night and we can’t thank the busby hotel enough. Every member of staff went above and beyond for everyone attending our wedding and we can’t thank everyone enough. We won’t ever forget the experience and that’s all down to every memeber of staff being fantastic. The food was fantastic and every guest commented on how much the enjoyed the meal and the hotel over all. Stayed over for two nights, and had a meal in the restaurant on the Friday night - which was incredible. A comfy bed, and plenty of space in the bedroom, and an amazing shower......! The wedding was excellent - so well organised, and professional staff helped us feel at ease. The food was great - the buffet at night was a surprise (once you got to the front of the ever growing queue!) chips are always a good way to soak the drink! A great time had by all, and hopefully will get back soon!came to the Busby hotel to celebrate my cousins wedding.
