Our hotel and wedding venue has an abundance of character and charm that dates back to 1835.
Located in the picturesque village of Eaglesham, our venue has everything you need for a truly exceptional wedding.
Wonderful ceremony room, spacious outdoor terrace and a beautifully elegant function suite will make your day more than memorable from start to finish. Our stables bar is the perfect area for you and your guests to mingle during your drinks receptions. Our stunning honeymoon suite is perfect for relaxing after a great day of celebrating.
Gilmour Suite - Our sensational suite plays host to your meal and evening reception and can also accommodate larger ceremonies.
Earls Hall - An intimate ceremony room which can comfortably accommodate up to 85 guests.
The Terrace - Our Terrace is an outdoor seated area, looking out to gorgeous scenery and perfect for those summer drinks receptions and photo opportunities.

Our cosy, historic venue is nestled in the incredible Orry parklands and set in the picturesque village of Eaglesham, located just outside of Glasgow.

The venue was set up beautifully and the staff fantastic and the attention to details was brilliant. From arriving at the venue the night before, everyone was so kind, helpful and very efficient. Nothing was bother. Adrian and Mark were fantastic and kept us right on the day. The Earls Hall was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for a better setting or assistance for our special day. We recently had our wedding at the Eglinton Arms Hotel. What a fantastic day we had. The venue was set up beautifully and the staff fantastic and the attention to details was brilliant. From arriving at the venue the night before, everyone was so kind, helpful and very efficient. Nothing was bother. Adrian and Mark were fantastic and kept us right on the day. The Earls Hall was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for a better setting or assistance for our special day.

Louize was always there to help with everything in the planning process which made it so much easier. Massive thanks to Adrian and Mark for everything they did on the day they really went above and beyond. The food was excellent. All our guests were incredibly amazed at the quality and portions. We had the best day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Eglinton Arms and there team to anyone looking to have there wedding there. The planning was very straightforward and Louize took care of everything, constantly keeping us updated and adapting with ease when we frequently changed our minds! She organised a meal tasting which was a lovely experience included as part of the package and we used the opportunity to treat ourselves to an overnight stay as the hotel itself and the surrounding area are lovely. We had 2 final planning meetings with Louize in the months before and we appreciated that these were in person. The package itself is very generous, with the drinks package and stationery included in the overall price as well as use of the gorgeous honeymoon site. Our day couldn’t have gone any smoother and all of our guests commented on the quality of the food, which we were delighted with. Our guests appreciated having 2 options and several said that they will be visiting the Eglinton Arms for dinner in the future. Adrian was a wonderful host and kept everyone calm, treating the groom and best man to a whiskey when the nerves set in! He also amended timings with ease when we were running late. Tiny touches such as tucking the mums chairs in at the top table did not go unnoticed. All waiting staff were professional and dinner was served promptly. Our parents are still commenting on how kind and accommodating the staff were. We had lovely weather, so we enjoyed that our guests were able to use the beer garden. We had a brilliant day, and if you book the Eglinton Arms you won’t regret it! It will always have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Not many businesses you get the management involved and giving it them absolute all so thank you. Our wedding coordinator Louize was so down to earth, honest, always an email away and done her all to make our wedding package exactly how we wanted and more. Our guests had nothing but compliments regarding both the food and staff. (Even if your not having a wedding just book for the food& service, you most definitely won’t be disappointed) From both Harley and I we will be forever greatful for our wedding day. We cannot thank all the staff enough for ensuring that our day went without any hiccups.Louize our wedding planner took care of everything and eliminated all the stress that a wedding can bring. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I am being a bit biased here, but my big brother married my best friend at The Eglinton Arms. Their day was filled with so much joy and love. It was a very special moment for me. When they were looking for a venue I asked them what the brief was and The Eglinton Arms really ticked every box, intimate, cosy, historic, not too far for their guests to travel, beautiful scenery and incredible food!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Pick what makes you both happy! This will make your day unique and so special for your guests.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I love when people use polaroid guest books, they are so much fun for guests and at the end you have an incredible book that captures the fun of your special day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The beautiful Orry parklands and the Kissing Bridge are an absolute must!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have not- but Lewis Capaldi lives in the village!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The Irn Bru cocktail sausages are a huge hit with our guests.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar crisps, if you like salt and vinegar you need these in your life!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our Venue is almost 200 years old, so it has a lot of beautiful traditional features.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The Team! A lot of our team members are local to the village of Eaglesham and have been with us since the age of 16. We have grown together like a family, and it really shows.
