The Bower Inn is a charming 18th-century pub, restaurant and hotel situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels near Bridgwater.
Inside you’ll find gorgeous, rustic interiors complete with exposed brick walls and wood flooring, and relaxed dining space for both intimate meals and larger gatherings. Outside, you can dine alfresco surrounded by stunning wildflowers in our large courtyard beer garden.
In the kitchen, our chefs work closely with local producers and suppliers to create stunning seasonal dishes, exciting takes on pub classics, and Bridgwater’s best Sunday roasts.

The venue itself is excellent, with a great marquee and indoor space, as well as a private courtyard, and beautiful cottage garden for photos. The rooms are fresh and of very high quality, having been renovated recently. Fiona was our wedding coordinator and nothing is too big an ask. She helped the day run smoothly as well as the planning beforehand. The staff were all professional and very slick with their service. Loved it. Absolutely loved it.
