We know how special your wedding day is and The Boathouse is quite simply one of the most idyllic and romantic venues you will ever find. Our Norfolk wedding venue is set on the enchanting Ormesby Broad, The Boathouse offers a magical experience in a tranquil and picturesque setting for your wedding celebration. Your guests can relax on the terrace enjoying the stunning views waiting for you to arrive at the beautiful wedding arbour (by boat if you wish). As you proceed to our beautiful breakfast and celebration rooms, you will be amazed at the mixture of contemporary and classic styles that blend so perfectly together.
The Boathouse is a contemporary space, overlooking the water. It is decorated in cool, calming colours which reflect its natural surroundings. It has a touch of ‘New England’ feel about it and has been designed to fit in with the area around it. From the decked area, guests can enjoy unspoilt views of the Broad, admiring the wildlife, reed beds and more. Brides can choose to arrive in the Edwardian style launch ‘Gentleman Jim’ travelling from The Waterside, which makes for a glamorous arrival and a wonderful photo opportunity .When the weather is kind, your wedding ceremony can take place outside in the Wedding Arbour making the most of this truly unique and evocative setting.

Belinda and the team were absolutely amazing and I had no worries at all that everything would run smoothly. Thank you again for the most amazing day! A very tight run ship of friendly staff. They bend over backwards for you to experience a good time. I've not yet eaten in this venue but will be on the 1st of Feb 2020 when I perform at a wedding. So I will review again then. But as a venue..it is absolutely stunning. I will have photos to show too. UPDATE: Well. The wedding happened and the food was 'absolutely delicious'. Everybody loved what was on their plate from starter to dessert...beautiful. Hot plates too. Everything went to plan and the staff were fantastic! If you decide to have a wedding there.. rest assured you are making the right choice! Stunning views with the sun going down. Although my partner and I didn't stay, all the guest of the wedding party said the accomadation was lovely and couldn't of asked for more. It even has a descrete heated smoking hut outside!
