A relaxed wedding venue, A gorgeous rustic barn, in an idyllic setting. Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Dartmoor national park, with far reaching views that encapsulates us here. Providing the perfect backdrop to any wedding day or event.
Our barn can comfortably accommodate 50- 120 daytime guests for the wedding reception, & up to 230- 300 for evening celebrations.
Exclusive hire of the entire venue allows you to check in from 12pm the day prior to your wedding, full use onf wedding day, until 12pm the day after your wedding. Allowing you plenty of time to adorn the barn as you wish, & to pack away without the rush, taking away much of the stress and allowing you to enjoy the venue even further.
The Barn it's self opens onto it's own private lawn area perfect for outdoor ceremonies with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Alternatively you can use this space for lawn games to keep your guests entertained while they enjoy welcome drinks & canapes & photos. You may even wish to add the optional stretch tent over your lawn area. Offering you peace of mind & shielding you from any inclement weather while still preserving the views.
Our in house Catering options start at £25 per head, there are also drink options & packages available, full details of this can be found on our website, with pricing break downs. Be sure to check out the Cocktail bar it's a big hit! you of course also welcome to add your own additional suppliers, we have a few recommended ones too so be sure to ask.
We pride ourselves on attention to detail here at The Barn, from our well stocked bar, to our decorative lighting, & decor. We even have a whole host of optional extras allowing you to put your own stamp on the venue & create the Wedding of your dreams, for details of our optional extras this can be found on our website.
Whether you are planning a blessing here with us with a celebrant, followed by your wedding breakfast & reception, or just coming to us for the reception the option is yours, and the possibilities endless.

Now this is tough, we use the best local suppliers and produce where possible for our food. Our Honey roast sausages seem to go down a hit, as do out miniature roast beef Yorkshire puddings.
