Description
The Barn can accommodate up to 120 seated guests, with the option of an additional marquee to seat up to an extra 40 to 50 people. It has a large secluded outside courtyard which has wonderful views across fields and a stream, with beautiful sunsets and it can be used as an ideal place for photographs, barbecues and hog roasts, reception drinks and a cocktail area. We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies. There is a Bridal Suite, ideal for those quiet moments in the lead up to a Wedding. Entirely surrounded by 60 acres of lush Devon countryside, privately situated at the end of a long drive, adjacent to The Barn there is a converted stable which can be used for catering. The Barn is designed to be a relaxed and rustic setting. We are flexible and you can choose to be as formal or as informal as you like; it is completely up to you! You can use our festoon lighting, vases, bunting, tables and chairs and hire our bales of straw if you wish, or you can decorate everything yourself. You can choose your own flower arrangements, furnishings and colour schemes and there are shelves to put tea lights on all around the Barn. There is plenty of time for setting up as the venue is exclusively yours from the Friday to come and go as you please. We provide you with a list of hand-picked local suppliers who go out of their way to source their produce from local and sustainable sources. They include caterers, hog roasts, live bands, entertainers, discos, florists, vintage crockery hire, Wedding Cake suppliers, ice cream vans, even a vintage 1950’s burger van, yurts, bell tents and tipis …….. the list is very long and very comprehensive! We also have our own delicious spring water which you can serve on all the tables if you wish.

The staff were incredible, nothing was to much to for them. The venue in its self is stunning, the views of the countryside along with the sunset make's perfect pictures. All of guest commented on how lovely the venue was and how relax and informal we made our day. Our thanks go to Lisa and her team for making our day perfect.This venue is the perfect venue for a farm wedding. My husband and I had the most amazing day. The staff were incredible, nothing was to much to for them. The venue in its self is stunning, the views of the countryside along with the sunset make's perfect pictures. The venue is a blank canvas so you can decorate to your own style we had rustic which was perfect. We found Lisa to be very helpful and communicated well. Advised on food suppliers , great location very relaxed and wish we could do it all again . There is also a wooden bridal suite to hire and a cottage for guests to hire.It was everything my daughter and husband wanted. The weather helped as was 22nd June this year. The owners were lovely and the day ran incredibly smoothly. We were made very welcome by the helpful and friendly staff who served us the most delicious food throughout the day.
