Ash Barton gives you get the opportunity to celebrate your wedding in style and spend a few days with friends and family in an ultra-laid back yet luxurious surrounding. You’re free to organise your own bar and caterers with your own choice of suppliers at no extra charge. Ash Barton can also put you in touch with some fabulous local planners/co-ordinators to help you with the planning/on-the-day duties. There are numerous indoors and outdoor locations where you can get married including the old chapel, the walled garden, the threshing barn, the wildflower meadow and down by the lake under the the old oak tree. Then afterwards you can celebrate in the big party barn, which holds up to 200. The house itself is beautifully appointed with crisp white cotton sheets, warm duvets, big fluffy towels, huge squashy sofas and unlimited logs for the log burners. It sleeps approximately 45 but there's also plenty of space in the grounds to camp or glamp. And there's a 'camper pamper' facility with hot showers for your camping guests. There’s also a heated indoor pool and a huge, heated games barn with full size snooker and pool tables, a five-a-side pitch, trampoline, table football, badminton, table tennis and more. Ash Barton can be booked over the weekend from Thursday to Monday or Monday to Thursday. And as there are special rates for those midweek bookings, it’s possible to book an incredible wedding venue at a very affordable price.

We had an amazing time!We had an amazing time!
We had an amazing time at Ash Barton for our wedding on the 18th May 2019! The weather held out and we had a beautiful wedding in the meadow. The team at Ash Barton were really helpful and friendly! Particularly Pete and Katherine during our stay and Tom during the lead up with any questions we had! The entire weekend exceeded expectations and everyone commented on it being the best wedding they’ve ever been too.We had an amazing time at Ash Barton for our wedding on the 18th May 2019! One word: WOW. Ash Barton is everything we could have wished for in a wedding venue and more. Not only is it beautiful but it's also a place where you feel immediately at home. It's the most flexible space ever - you really can do whatever you want here. The owners and staff are incredible they put you in touch with fab suppliers who all help make your dream come true. We had so many comments about what an incredible and unusual venue AB is and we'll never forget what a magical wedding weekend we had here.One word: WOW. Ash Barton is everything we could have wished for in a wedding venue and more. Not only is it beautiful but it's also a place where you feel immediately at home. It was so perfect!It was so perfect!
We got married on Tuesday and it was insanely magical! If you’re on here debating to use the Ash Barton Estate then look no further! This is the place! It has everything you need and more! The dream place for a wedding! Simon and Tom the dream team! Kathryn is lovely! Pete just never stops 🙄 It was so perfect! Shout out to some of our venders...as we had a few! Firstly, Holly from Croyde Concierge...a professional gap filler and the extra sister you always wished you had. She is absolutely incredible and we couldn’t recommend her enough! She slots in perfectly and uses her initiative to just get on with things to make everything go smoothly. Book her! Pig and Olive we used for our wedding breakfast and they smashed it! Everyone loved pizza! Latitudes OMG, their thai food was amazing! Everyone wants to know their recipes! We used them for the evening and the vegans went crazy for it! Kate Dixon Photography, well she is just lovely! We called her Ninja as she just snuck up all the time! She has cool style too! She was beyond a photographer on the day and we are so pleased with her! Photo by Kate below! Finally, wheel barrows. Use the wheelbarrows for everything from carrying heavy boxes to popping water in to keep your drinks cool. There were about five and they looked great! We catered at Ash Barton recently and when our daughter gets engaged we will definitely be booking here for the wedding. Beautiful location with so many activities and facilities. Just a stunning location and super people on site to make your wedding everything you want it to be. So impressed by their absolute commitment to making people feel at home and to have their wedding of their dreams :) Not all venues are as relaxed and as welcoming to their guests. Thank you to the whole team for all your help :) from the How on Earth vegan team, Heidi Chloe & Dan :D You truly have a wonderful place!We catered at Ash Barton recently and when our daughter gets engaged we will definitely be booking here for the wedding. We fell In love! We fell In love!
From the first day we laid eyes on the place online on a snowy morning in January 2018 we fell in love.. the following visits only exceeded our expectations... however nothing quite prepares you for how incredible it is when the day arrives to move into the Estate and make it your own for the best few days of your life! We got married on the 24.07.19 and were over the moon with how incredible this venue was and what a beautiful wedding it provided for us! The team are always on hand and help you bring the wedding of your dreams to life! Our guests loved moving into the venue and were blown away with everything the Ash Barton had to offer (summer weddings - I highly recommend you having a bbq pool party 😉). If you’re thinking about getting married here, it’s not something you need to question.. just book a date! We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a wedding that’s unique and tailored to you! ❤️ Here are a few of our professional photos from our day.. I’ve added lots of our couple shoots as I know when I was looking on here before our wedding I was picking up ideas from other peoples photos of where some really special spots are on the grounds - so hope these might give some others some ideas.. we also highly recommend taking a 7min drive down to Saunton sands to get some beautiful beach photos too!! ⭐️Massive thanks to Simon Daukes who was always on the end of an email or phone call regarding planning and understanding the logistics of our wedding!! You’ve been super helpful and I love how much love you pour into the Ash Barton to make it such a special place for those of us who get to get married there! ⭐️ Huge thank you to Thomas Daukes and Pete for organising, helping set up and being on hand whenever we needed.. you made the day run so smoothly and we were so thankful for you guys! Our guests loved you as much as we did! ⭐️Our guests loved the hog roast provided by Astridges Catering - you guys were so friendly and down to earth and served incredible food that our guests can’t stop talking about, thank you!! ⭐️Thanks to Iconic Hair and Makeup - I would highly recommend her services, she made me and my bride tribe look beautiful!! ⭐️ Our guests so enjoyed the homemade ice cream by James Dawson’s ‘Ice Cream Tricycle’ hire! ⭐️ Exmoor Flowers were so friendly and after a lovely consultation they provided us with everything we wanted in order for my mother to make the wonderful bouquets! ⭐️ Mark Mansfield our incredible photographer captured the day perfectly and fell in love with the grounds.. utilising them to produce the best photographs for us!! Fantastic venue! We had the most amazing wedding in June. The venue was perfect and you can really create the wedding that you want. Massive thank you to Simon for being so helpful whenever I had any questions and for Tom for being on-hand throughout the weekend. He was really great and helped make our weekend perfect! We got married under the Oak tree (great suggestion Simon!) and our guests were in tears even before the ceremony started because the setting was just pure magic! It felt like home for the four days and there was so much for our guests to do and explore. We were looking for a wedding venue where we could do everything ourselves, with no restrictions, with space for all the family to stay, and ash barton was absolutely perfect. It was the only venue we looked at and we fell in love with it immediately. The house and barn are beautiful and have everything you need for a fun, relaxed wedding weekend. Simon, Pete, Tom and Catherine were really helpful throughout the planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. All our family and friends absolutely loved the venue and we were able to do everything we wanted. We had the best weekend ever!
