The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland is a truly unique setting for the most wonderful weddings. Our wedding ceremonies and receptions are held in either The Pavilion or The Treehouse. The Pavilion can accommodate large, lavish occasions as well as smaller, intimate celebrations, while The Treehouse can host weddings outdoors beneath the woodland canopy, and smaller events inside the restaurant.
Our professional in-house chefs offer a varied menu cooked with locally sourced ingredients. Combine this with our team of experienced, award winning wedding coordinators and a dedicated service team and we have everything you need to deliver your special day in the most incredible way.
The Garden Pavilion room was designed by Sir Michael Hopkins and overlooks one of the world’s most exciting gardens. With glass walls and a high ceiling, you can enjoy the panoramic views and beautiful colours of The Garden in bloom.
The Garden Pavilion room can hold marriages and civil partnerships for up to 200 guests with celebratory drinks served on the terraces to soak up the captivating views. Host your reception party, with dinner overlooking the Grand Cascade followed by dancing under the stars and above thousands of twinkling lights in the Pavilion Atrium.
The magical Alnwick Garden Treehouse is the largest in the World and impressive as it sounds. Built around 16 trees and 18 metres above the ground, with a restaurant, 2 intimate function rooms, a glorious decking and rope bridges, this venue is like no other. The restaurant as the centrepiece of the structure can accommodate a wedding breakfast for 85, and there is truly nothing more special than getting married in front of a roaring log fire or in the warmer months on the sun-soaked decking surrounded by your loved ones. This one of a kind restaurant with twisting branches filled with fairy lights is a rare delight.
Both venues offer incredible views, and an expert team dedicated to creating your dream day.

It felt structured; with timelines, templates, floor plans etc. Great communication and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our ideas and suggestions were listened to and actioned. Feels weird reducing 2 years of planning to such a simple phrase, but planning was a breeze. On the day, Daisy and the team were incredibly helpful. I got there early expecting to do a lot of the setup myself, but it was pretty much all done when I arrived, which was a huge help. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. They also did a great job of moving people to the right places at the right times and generally facilitating the day so that everything went smoothly. The food was incredible. We received so many compliments on how great the wedding breakfast meal was, particularly the beef, so we’re very happy with our choices. Please pass our compliments on to the kitchen staff. The venue itself of course looks amazing and was just such an impressive place for us and our guests. For any small, unexpected issues along the way, we worked together to quickly get things sorted and keep things seamless for our guests. If I ever needed anything, I was always able to find someone and they helped me immediately. It was a fantastic day supported by fantastic people. Special shout-out to Daisy for jumping into action and helping us find a missing wedding ring after our owl ring-bearer accidentally dropped it 20 feet below the decking into a pile of leaves! She absolutely saved the day. Daisy was also really fun and just great to work with – she totally understood the tone/vibe of our wedding and really helped us deliver the wedding we always wanted. We can’t thank everyone enough for all of their help - we had the best day and will be back to celebrate many more anniversaries!Planning process for the day was made simple and easy. Being able to pivot and change when we had to move the ceremony inside, and then having the knowledge to deal with issues we didn't foresee. Making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes to the point where we didn’t notice and were just able to get on with and enjoy our day, and just being so helpful overall whenever I had any last minute queries or suggestions.Special mention to Daisy for helping us so much over the weekend and on the day itself. Nothing was too much for the staff and any questions or problems were sorted quickly. On the day everything was set up ready and the BBQ we had was delicious. Our wedding was in the Autumn when the leaves were all beautiful colours, our photographs were stunning. A very magical venue with ornate wooden decoration, a roaring fire and lots of twinkly lights. The planning team were brilliant and any particular features we wanted or tweaks to the menu were done with ease. We had the most spectacular day and our guests are still talking about how our venue was the best they’ve ever been to and probably will go to. We got married at the Treehouse in Alnwick Gardens.
