Home to the Christie family, Tapeley Park & Gardens sits proudly on a hill overlooking the River Torridge and the North Devon coastline. Tapeley Park & Gardens is home to the most beautiful gardens, boasting a variety of attractions including a lake, ponds, old woodland and a number of fields for Christie’s livestock to graze. It’s truly a sight worth seeing.
In fair weather, couples can have their wedding ceremony in the Italian Gardens in ‘The Toot’. The gardens provide a magical backdrop for your wedding photos and the rambling grounds of the estate and children’s play area provide a perfect distraction for younger guests too!
Make the beautiful red brick steps down into the Italian gardens your wedding aisle then say “I Do” under the beautiful arches in ‘The Toot’.
The grounds of Tapeley Park & Gardens are the perfect venue for all events and weddings; there are indoor and outdoor venue options suitable for all occasions. We strongly encourage you to make an appointment with us to come and view this venue for yourself, no words or pictures can do justice to this incredible wedding venue.

The price includes exclusive use of Tapeley Park for 3 days and we have 2 options for hire.
Firstly being our Barn that hosts intimate weddings for up to 60 guests at the cost of £2100.
Second, being a Marquee placed on the front lawn in front of the house with views over the estuary catering for up to 300 guests. Tapeley Park will support you in finding the right sized marquee for your wedding party.

Where’s the best photo spot at Tapeley Park?
We have so many but the bride coming down the red brick steps into the Italian garden is very special. For the newly married couple I always recommend a picture on the front lawn over looking the Sea.
What is Tapeley Park most unique feature?
We are one of the few venues to have Sea Views as well as beautiful Italian Gardens. Rustic Barn can hold up to 70 persons and the front lawn with magnificent views on the sea is large enough for a 300 person marquee.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our price; couples are always pleasantly surprised to hear how reasonable we are. We pride ourselves on reasonable and affordable pricing, allowing all Brides to live our their Luxury Wedding... and leaving more money for that dream dress!
