Nothing is ever too much for her to help and sort. On the day of our wedding the whole team working that day were brilliant! Again Jess was there to support alongside Abigail who ensured everything run smoothly, she was brilliant and constantly on the go. They were brilliant in ensuring the venue looked stunning to seating, organising our guests and ensuring that the venue looked brilliant through the changes during the day. It was such an amazing day, the photos on the grounds are stunning and we couldn’t have picked a better venue! The food was gorgeous from start to finish and well presented! We started planning around June 2023 and Jess and the team have been in touch and busy behind the scenes throughout that time, particularly as we got closer. Thank you so much to you and the team, we were looked after really well and it really was such a magical day! Our guests were all saying what a beautiful venue it was and we were so impressed that everything flowed so smoothly, it's a testament to your hard work and attention to detail. Luke was fantastic in the days leading up to the wedding and made himself available to us if we had any questions or anything we needed, and was fantastic at looking after us on the day. It was brilliant to see Jess too as she'd looked after us throughout the planning process. We couldn't fault the team or the venue at all, everyone was so helpful and we are so grateful to everyone for the part they played in ensuring we had the most wonderful day. - EEmily & Niall20/01/2026OUR WEDDING DAYOUR WEDDING DAYWe had our wedding reception at Tankersley manor back in May this year and it was absolutely beautiful, we had the Tankersley suite and the crook barn and wow what an amazing space for the big wedding we had!! From the moment we booked our wedding Jess and the team were so accommodating and helpful. Jess was our main wedding coordinator and wow she is such an amazing woman, she makes you feel so at ease as well as bringing fun vibes every time we went for our meetings. Jess took charge and made me as the bride feel so much more relaxed with all her tips and helpful advice along the way. Leading up to the wedding nothing was too much to ask, everything seemed calm and relaxed which is every couples dream when the wedding is soon approaching. The big day itself went perfect start to finish, we had Jess with us in the morning as well as Abi who stayed with us all day. Abi was a breath of fresh air and she couldn’t do enough for me and my Husband through the whole day she was perfect and so lovely to be around. I just want to say a massive thank you to all at Tankersley manor who helped with our special day, it wouldn’t have been possible without you all. Jess and her team made the whole experience stress free, whenever we needed anything sorting Jess was there straight away helping us through everything! She answered every email with quick response to help us with all our problems and worries! Our day ran smoothly and I was kept stress free by all the staff at Tankersley manor! Any last minute requests were sorted straight away! The night before the wedding Abby was there to greet myself and my mum and helped us take all my decorations into the venue ready to be set up for our big day. Abby ran my wedding and she did an amazing job she made sure everything I needed and wanted was there, in the correct place and at the correct time! Our rooms the night before were clean and tidy, we had a private room for some food it was set up so beautifully and the food was gorgeous! The bridal suit was again set up so gorgeously, rose petals on the bed and a lovely message on the mirror. Tankersley Manor was a great location for us due to being close for all our family and friends, they found it easy to find and there was plenty of parking for those who drove, due to our wedding being in the tankersley suit and crook barn we had our own private car park which was helpful for all my guest. For what Tankersley Manor provided for our wedding was worth the value of money we paid for our wedding, the food was gorgeous and everyone kept complimenting the food we had throughout the day. The team honestly couldn’t do enough for us & really made our day special. A huge thank you to our wedding planner Jess who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. We booked in January 2024 and instantly knew that we wanted to get married here after meeting Jess! She was always on hand to answer any queries we had. We had a few visits to the hotel inbetween booking & the wedding and she was always there ready to greet us with a drink. The menu tasting we did was fantastic & she made sure the menu was everything we wanted. On the wedding day she was there bright & early to come help set up. She even helped dress my twin babies & looked after them along with Abi while me & my bridesmaids were getting ready. She really is amazing & cares about every couple who gets married here. Also a huge thank you to Abi who was our events manager. She did everything possible to ensure the day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible & everyone couldn’t speak highly enough of it. The rooms were lovely, spacious & comfortable. We had petals on our bed, a message on the mirror & a bottle of champagne waiting for us. A really lovely touch after such a fab day! Right back to when we first met Jess 2 years ago on our walk around and information meeting. Jess is so down to earth, very friendly and professional. Luke too, who managed our wedding day. He is amazing and the most calming, reassuring person you'll meet. We can't thank them and all of the staff at Tankersley enough. We've never met such a professional team that is so kind, caring and willing! Every member of the team will go out of their way, nothing is a problem! The care they take for every single person is heart warming, not just you as the couple but your guests too. We have gained friends now, not just wedding coordinators. We're quite sad to think we won't have a day like that again to be honest! They didn't feel like staff. It felt like they were meant to be there and part of our day sharing it with us. The venue was just what we was looking for and we only stumbled across it on our google search having not heard of it before. Little did we know it would be our perfect wedding venue. Having the barn attached ticks that box of a barn wedding we so dreamed of, giving us the rustic feel we so hoped for and the plus is the accommodation of the hotel to go with it. The Tankersley suite where we had our wedding picnic was an amazing space, all decorated by the wonderful Tracy and her husband who are regular venue dressers there. The food was incredible, all local produce and served like a picnic setting from one of the wedding packages. There is so much choice, plenty of options for dietary requirements and all so tasty and good value for money! Our rooms were all so tidy, modern and clean. We really couldn't of asked for anywhere better to celebrate our wedding, we're immensely grateful and would highly recommend Tankersley Manor.We got married here just days ago. As a location, we had always had our eye on it, so we didn't waste any time in placing a deposit for a date after visiting one of the amazing Wedding Fayre's - not too far from us but far enough to feel like we stepped into an entirely different world! Jess and the team were incredible at all the initial stages making sure everything was completed in a timely manner and answering all (I had loads) of my questions! When it came to a few days before we got put into contact with Luke and my goodness does he know how to do his job! He was incredibly calm (even though I was definitely stressing about every minor detail) and he was unbelievably reassuring. On the day itself we have never encountered such a stress free process, everything and everyone was catered for, from beers for the groom and father of the bride, to Julia Donaldson for the kids! They went over and beyond as a team to ensure everyone in attendance wanted for nothing. We had relatives with loss of sight, friends with allergies and some very energetic children, every single person was made to feel at home, with so many compliments from our loved ones as to how happy they were. We booked to stay the evening before, having a table booked for us and despite being late due to a broken down car, again we were well attended to and the food was just incredible. Our rooms were so clean and comfortable and Jess made sure we were all together and closest to the Crook Barn where we married. Breakfast on the morning of the wedding and the day after was beautiful, again with Julie looking after us and taking time to ask how our day went.
