We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose the Strathaven Hotel as the venue for our wedding. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place — absolutely stunning in every way. A huge part of what made our day so special was our incredible wedding coordinator, Morgan. Morgan was a true gem. She was so attentive throughout the entire process, easing my nerves as a bride-to-be with her calm and reassuring presence. She always knew exactly what to say and do to keep us at ease, and we could feel her genuine care every step of the way. On the big day itself, the attention to detail was flawless. Morgan ensured that everything was set out just as we’d planned, and she went above and beyond in ways we’ll never forget. Not only was she expertly coordinating the wedding, but she also kept my energetic 3-year-old entertained and even looked after my dog at times, making sure every detail was covered. Her dedication to ensuring our day ran smoothly was incredible. We’re so grateful for Morgan and the fantastic team at the Strathaven Hotel. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her, and we truly appreciate all the hard work and care that went into making our day unforgettable.

When we started planning our wedding, we didn't know where to start! We were so overwhelmed and thought a good place to start would be to start visiting some venues & take it from there. I came across Strathaven Hotel on Bridebook after a quick Google search on wedding venues near me. We booked an appointment to go see it (and a few others) and the rest is history. From the minute we arrived on the grounds we had a great feeling. The hotel itself was beautiful and that great first impression carried on when we stepped through the door. We met Morgan who was absolutely amazing from the get go. We provisionally booked our wedding there & then and we were so impressed that we cancelled all our other viewings as we knew we had found the place we wanted to get married. Throughout all the appointments, Morgan and all the other staff at the hotel could not have been any better. And it wasn't just for show - everyone was so genuinely amazing and made us feel so at ease. The whole process from start to finish was so straightforward and hassle free. Then there was the wedding day itself. I have absolutely no complaints. We were obviously in the capable hands of professionals - everything went so smoothly and on time, the hotel took care of everything. Morgan & Gillian done an amazing job at calming my nerves just before walking down the aisle! And the food! Our guests are still talking about the food! It was beautiful. Every single thing was so tasty & presented beautifully, it was definitely above & beyond anything we could have hoped for. For anyone who is thinking of having their wedding at Strathaven Hotel ai would absolutely say do it! Especially for those who might be like us and not sure where to start with the whole wedding planning - the hotel are great at helping and offering advice with everything. My son also absolutely loves Morgan. He still talks about "the wedding lady" and "dancing under the stars" it was a memorable day for him too! I could go on and on about how amazing everything was but a comment by one of the best men just shows how much the day went perfectly - "It was a great day, zero room for improvement". Thank you to Morgan & all at Strathaven Hotel for working so hard to make our day so special and memorable as it was. Strathaven will forever hold a special place in our hearts & we will definitely make sure to visit as often as we can.

After waiting 33years for a proposal, 2 covid cancellations our wedding day was just perfect. Thanks to the wonderful Morgan and Gillian nothing was too much trouble. The set-up was beautiful and the meal was simply outstanding. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day. Thank you Strathaven Hotel for the most wonderful day.

We had absolutely the best day of our lives when we got married at Strathaven Hotel! The hotel is such a beautiful venue and with our wedding being in the Autumn the beautiful colours and surroundings just made it absolutely perfect! The staff were outstanding, and in particular Morgan was just the best wedding co-ordinator from start to finish. She provided us such a high quality service, nothing was too much trouble and all our requests were honoured, and our wedding day turned out to be exactly what we had hoped for and more! Every one of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was and the friendly staff made it comfortable and relaxing, exactly what we wanted! We would highly recommend a wedding at Strathaven Hotel, it really was the best day of our lives!

The moment we stepped into the Strathaven Hotel, we knew it was the venue for us! The interior and exterior are beautifully designed / presented and requires little to no decorating. The Strathaven Hotel caters to intimate weddings and also larger gatherings and we were lucky enough to experience both. We were married in the smaller, more intimate Overton room and we had our reception in the modern, stylish ballroom. Jen and Morgan we absolute superstars and our wedding would not have been as good as it was without them. They were there to answer any questions we had and at any time. We can’t thank them enough for making our dream day come to life!! All of our guests complimented the food - some saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding!! We can’t recommend the Strathaven Hotel enough to future couples, everything they do is perfect! I wish we could do it all over again!!

We had our gorgeous intimate wedding at The Strathaven Hotel on Saturday the 17th of August 2024 surrounded by our special family and friends. Morgan was so supportive in helping both of us plan our special day down to the very smallest of details and we can’t thank her enough. The venue itself came together exactly how we imagined, letting the unique features speak for themselves and adding minimal detail with over 50 candles and crisp white linens as well as gorgeous pale wooden chairs. The majority of our friends and family told us their dinner was the best food they have ever had! We finished off our day dancing the night away with our wonderful band set up in the main room. The team working that night were so much fun and brought such an amazing energy. It really felt like we were all having the best time and we will never forget our special day at The Strathaven Hotel. Knowing that we’re able to return whenever we like for gorgeous meals, cappuccinos and overnight stays is very special to us, and we won’t be strangers. That’s not something you can get at every wedding venue, that’s for sure!

From the moment we attending a wedding open day at the Strathaven hotel we instantly fell in love with the venue and more so the staff and treatment went received. Morgan was truly our favorite part of the whole booking experience, she was always so professional and polite whilst always making sure the day was just right for us. She was always there from face to face meetings, emails and phone calls and always did her best to take the stress off of us. The wedding day went ahead without any issues, the staff are honestly top tier and we cannot fault them at all. Every single staff member made us feel welcomed and at home. I would highly recommend this venue for any function but especially for a wedding, especially as Morgan specifically took so much stress off our shoulders and we really could rely on her.

My wife and I got married at strathaven hotel and we could not ask for a better day, Morgan and the team did a great job ! Great food great atmosphere would highly recommend anyone getting married to get down to strathaven and get it booked.
