From your first enquiry to the final dance, the experienced events team offers expert planning guidance and signature Stonehouse Court hospitality, ensuring every detail reflects your vision. The hotel also features a luxurious bridal suite for the newlyweds and 44 beautifully appointed bedrooms, allowing family and friends to relax and celebrate together in comfort.
Stonehouse Court offers a full range of options, from intimate civil ceremonies to large exclusive-use weddings and marquee celebrations on the lawns. For civil ceremonies, couples can choose the elegant outdoor pagoda set within the gardens, or one of several licensed indoor suites. The Caroline Suite is an exclusive banqueting space featuring air conditioning and a state-of-the-art PA system, with views across private lawns and gardens that create the perfect setting for drinks receptions and photographs. The suite accommodates up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening celebration. For smaller gatherings, the Arundel Suite provides a romantic Manor House setting for up to 60 guests, while the Crellin Room — complete with spiral staircase and oak-panelled walls — offers an intimate dining space for up to 25 guests.
For larger celebrations, marquees accommodating 100 to 250 guests can be arranged on the lawns through Stonehouse Court’s nominated supplier, offering flexibility and grandeur in equal measure. The hotel also offers carefully designed packages that allow couples to enjoy exclusive use of the property, creating a truly private and unforgettable experience. We arrived Friday afternoon to be greated by happy friendly staff. We had a pre wedding dinner in the Court Brasserie for a party of 16. The atmosphere, service and food were all amazing. The wedding day its self far exceeded our expectations. From the relaxed atmosphere at breakfast to the last dance at midnight, nothing was too much trouble. All the guests said how amazing all the staff, food and rooms were when they stayed! We met Graham the night before our wedding who ran through the plan and reassured us all the decorating would be done over night and the team did not disappoint. Throughout the day, Graham, Dominic and the team were attentive, professional and truly wonderful, making us feel well looked after and totally relaxed. Ourselves and our guests were wowed by our delicious food choices and thought the building was beautiful. The staff worked flat out all weekend with weddings the day before and after ours, they really are a dream team, we can't thank you enough. Also many thanks to Gemma who we inundated with emails and queries but she responded promptly and also answered our questions. Wowee what a wedding! They went above and beyond on the day to take care of us, direct us and ran everything so smoothly, as well as providing help and reassurance beforehand as well. The food was amazing. Served timely and hot and was super tasty. The drinks range was great with some awesome suggestions from the head barman. We have had nothing but positive praise about the wedding day itself from our guests. Truly a remarkable place to get married and the staff are a credit to the hotel. They really do go above and beyond for you. You don't feel like it's just another wedding for them Stonehouse were amazing for our wedding. Do you allow external catering?
Unfortunately we’re not able to accommodate external caterers. This helps us maintain consistent quality, service standards, and timing on the day. Our couples love that catering is handled in-house by our very own team of skilled chefs — it simplifies planning and ensures seamless coordination on the day.
Do we get a wedding tasting?
Of course! Your wedding tasting is complimentary if you opt for a two or three course meal for your wedding breakfast.
What is the cost of the deposit?
The deposit is £1,000 and is non-refundable.
Are fireworks permitted?
As Stonehouse Court Hotel is located next to active farmland, for the safety of the property and the neighbouring animals, we’re unable to allow fireworks on site.
What time is check-in and check-out for guests?
Hotel check-in is from 15:00, and check-out the next morning is 11:00.
Do you have accessible bedrooms?
Yes we do, only two so we recommend booking these early.
What time does the Caroline Suite bar close?
12 O'clock midnight
Do you do have last minute availability?
Yes! We are more than happy to book in weddings as soon as you like, so check with the team to confirm which dates are available!
What are your payment terms?
Firstly, your £1,000 deposit to secure the date must be paid to confirm your booking. 6 months prior to your big day 50% of the wedding total is due, with the next instalment of 90% to be paid 3 months prior. Your final balance is due two weeks before the date of the wedding.
Can I set up for my wedding the day before?
Access to the Caroline Suite the day prior to your wedding day can't be guaranteed. We will need to check this on the week running up to your day, as we may have another wedding, meeting, or celebration taking place.
