The venue was deeply meaningful to us, as Gunwharf was where we had our first date, and marrying there felt like everything had come full circle. Bryony's attention to detail was amazing also she guided us every step of the way with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, making the planning stress-free. On the day, everything ran seamlessly by the whole team, allowing us to simply enjoy the celebration. Our experience with the Spinnaker Tower team was incredible from start to finish. Bryony & her team are absolutely amazing & in our eyes the best people ever. We had expectations of how the day would go but it was much much better than that. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. The feedback from family & friends is that it was the most perfect venue, the views and the friendliness of staff’, the food was excellent & everyone had the best time. Personally, I couldn't agree more! Special Thanks go to Bobbie and Nelson for organizing our big day but we must convey our thanks to all of the staff there., as they were all so attentive and professional. The afternoon tea was plentiful & tasty and the views were magical- made our special day absolutely unforgettable. If I could give six stars, I would happily do so as thank you doesn't really express my gratitude. I would highly recommend this stunning venue for a quick visit, a function or a wedding- World Class. James and his team have to be the best in the business. The organisation, communication and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude made our wedding day absolutely first class. I thought it would be hard to compete with the beauty of the tower itself. But James' team along with the companies we used for catering, decorating and photography were second to none. Getting married at the Spinnaker Tower is a no brainer, not only because of the venue but the outstanding service from James and his team which make the day stress free.Suzie and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue for our wedding. Despite the rain battering down outside, we could not have picked a better venue. Everything had been organised beautifully and once inside the weather was forgotten. The day ran smoothly, all stress gone as James and his team worked so hard to create the perfect ambience and day for us. I also must mention the outside agencies that James also recommended who did an outstanding job with regards to flower arrangements, food, balloons etc and a massive thank you to the bar and lift staff, running around keeping us all happy. An absolutely incredible day, one my husband and I will treasure forever. The day was a whirlwind, as I'm told they always are however I felt truly safe in the knowledge that the team at the venue had everything sorted! We had made enquires a good year or so before the wedding and had been over the plans for the day extensively in this time. Although the venue had a change of hands in management when we were in the middle of planning, things still seemed to run smoothly. My husband and I actually ended up moving back to NZ a year before the wedding and ended up communicating mostly via email which the venue handled very well. The day really did fly by and the team managed all of our requests very well. If I could have my day again, getting married overlooking the sparkling ocean, not a cloud in the sky, I would do it in a heartbeat. Getting married overlooking the ocean and seeing the setting sun at the reception was heavenly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend getting married up the tower. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It would have to be the wedding with the Lightsabers. The couple were really lovely and fun to work with. The cake they had made wasn't exactly what they had planned but were happy to roll with it and they celebrated with a High Tea in our Cloud's Cafe for their wedding breakfast. It was an amazing day for all.

Do lightsabers count? We had an amazing wedding where the lightsabers from the original Star Wars trilogy were the guest stars.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Well I couldn't just choose one myself so I asked all of the staff and we have agreed the Towers favorite canape is Cumberland Sausage wrapped in smoked Streaky Bacon.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Sat on the terrace watching the ships in the harbour.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The glass floor on our Sky Deck at 100m
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The stunning panoramic views from our 3 view decks.
