Shotton Grange

Thank you so much to the whole Shotton Grange team for everything you have done to make our wedding day so special. You were very accommodating, especially with my autistic brother, we had some strange requests to make the day easier for him and they were all met. Nothing was too much of a bother and we were always kept updated and in the loop, right from booking and meetings with Emma, to Paul who looked after us throughout the day. Special mention to the girl at the bar who put in a long shift, but kept smiling and was so helpful! Also, all the food was amazing and we’re still thinking about those lamb burger canapés. We would 100% recommend Shotton as a wedding venue to others as everything ran so smoothly, which took a lot of the stress off us!

Building is beautiful and well kept. The staff are just amazing - nothing was too much trouble and they guided us through the minute details with patience professionalism and humour - personal thanks to Emma, Torah and Maya - out day was just amazing

We just wanted to say thank you for being part of our special day. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and complimented the venue and beautiful grounds. The communication and support you have given us from the day we booked our wedding and throughout the planning process has been greatly appreciated and has made our whole wedding experience such a pleasure! We both thought our day went so smoothly and the team did such a great job! You’re all amazing and we can’t thank you enough!

We could see that she was in safe hands and therefore were reassured that our financial investment was in good hands too. Not only were your staff fantastic, we also found the stands you provided were thoughtful and caring. Nothing was too much trouble for you and your team. You were always around, unobtrusively present, doing the stuff that good organisers do. That was fantastic. Suffice to say, your service was worth every penny - and maybe even more!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that made our day so personal and run so smoothly. From the very start Emma has been amazing and we loved our little meetings with her, she is so friendly and helpful, answering every email and phone call with such warmness while remaining professional. The planning wouldn't have been so easy without her, she is such an asset to your team. Our second shout-out is to Rachel who ran our day and made it look so easy.

I also wanted to thank you for all of your help during the whole planning process. No matter what we asked, you always responded so quickly and gave us any information we needed. The whole planning process almost felt too easy. Thank you to the team who were there on the wedding day too. Again, the day was so easy and flowed effortlessly! We can’t get over how amazing the day was, we absolutely loved every minute and so did our guests! From start to finish the staff couldn’t have done enough!

Yourself, Emma - you were amazing throughout the planning process and swiftly replied to any queries we had. The venue is second to none, it is genuinely so beautiful. We've recently been married in Shotton Grange and it was everything we wanted and more! Emma dealt with us from start to finish and she couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. Emma ensured every detail was discussed and even reminded us of things we hadn't thought of yet. Rachel then dealt with our big day and she was equally as amazing, ensuring the day ran smoothly and as perfect as we wanted. The food!! Wow, the food was amazing and our guests thought so too. We loved that our guests had the choice of food and it all ran so smoothly even with people eating different dishes. Honestly our day was perfect for us and that's thanks to Shotton Grange. The venue and grounds are beautiful and one guest even commented 'I could stay here for a week'. We cannot thank you all enough! If you're thinking about booking, do it!! X

We had the most amazing day at Shotton grange. From the very first viewing we knew this was our venue and we’ve felt welcome each and every visit. Emma has been an absolute star, Nothing was a chore or too much of an ask. The whole experience was perfect.

We looked at a few venues and knew as soon as we drove into Shotton’s grounds that it was the place for our wedding. The team were great and very helpful on the lead up to our wedding and on the day. Everything went very smoothly and we had the most magical day. Our guests commented on how beautiful Shotton was, and it made the perfect venue for our autumn wedding. We had around 55 guests with only a few extras on the night time and we felt it was the perfect amount for the size of the venue. The food was delicious and the following morning, we had a lovely breakfast before checking out. Overall, the perfect venue!
