Wow where to begin .... From day 1 of visiting the castle after years of driving past it we fell in love instantly and knew this was the place to get married. Natasia and Pat were very accommodating and helped us throughout the day. Fantastic venue Fantastic weather and fantastic backdrop for our wedding photos. couldn't of asked for anymore . A huge THANK YOU to Natasia and Pat at Sheriff Hutton Castle! They were both so helpful and accommodating on our wedding day and during the build up. So many of our guests have commented on how magical the castle setting was and we will treasure the memories of our big day in Sheriff Hutton. Staying at the cute Lodge was the cherry on top :) Thank you for the little details in there including our flowers turning up!! Such a special place - once we visited we fell in love with it. From the moment we saw Sheriff Hutton we knew it was the perfect romantic venue for our wedding day. Natasia and Pat made the whole experience completely stress free and we had the most wonderful time of our life. A venue that was more than we could have ever hoped for. A venue that was more than we could have ever hoped for.
Sheriff Hutton Castle was more than we could have ever hoped for as a wedding venue. The grounds are beautifully kept by Natasia and Pat and the communication throughout was fantastic. We visited the venue on a few occasions prior to the wedding day and Natasia and Pat were always very accommodating. They also allowed us a day either side of the wedding to set up and clear away and this was fantastic at taking the pressure off us on the day of the wedding. The venue speaks for itself. We did very little to the hall as we were keen for everyone to see the castle for its history and character and it did not disappoint. Guests were also commenting throughout the day about how wonderful the Castle was and how special it was to have as a wedding venue. Everything about the venue was perfect and Natasia and Pat looked after us on the day, even delivering cold drinks to guests after the ceremony. The day was more than we could have ever hoped for and we are incredibly grateful for Natasia and Pat for allowing us to use their home for our wedding and create such special memories that we will cherish forever. I was delighted to be invited to close friends wedding and throughly intrigued by the knowledge that the wedding would be held in a castle. Upon arrival I was stunned by the location, having passed through the quaint village of Sheriff Hutton, we saw a glorious open plan marquee, shepherds huts and countryside views all surrounded by Richard III Castle. We were greeted warmly by our hosts Natasia and Patrick who made us feel instantly welcome and were on hand throughout the wedding to help and provide detailed information on the history of the castle. As the sun set the sense of peace and hope that settled over the castle remains gave pause for reflection. Broken only by the range of food, drink and entertainment on offer as we danced over looking the Yorkshire fields. This is an idealic location for any couple looking to get married, and I can only hope I'm lucky enough to be one of those people in the future. A truly wonderful day for our friends Emily and Simon. Sheriff Hutton castle is absolutely stunning and Natasia and Pat went out of their way to make sure that everything was spot on. The castle was a perfect backdrop to the fantastic marquee and as the sun set, it couldn't have more picturesque. Lots of little additions as well such as the beautiful fairy lights in the sounding hall and around the site which really finished everything off perfectly.A truly wonderful day for our friends Emily and Simon. Sheriff Hutton castle is absolutely stunning and Natasia and Pat went out of their way to make sure that everything was spot on. Went to my friends wedding here and it was no other. The venue was so cool, it had a magical feel and felt so unique unlike any I’ve been too. The set up with brilliant, from the sounds of it the venue owners were super helpful, not full on but 100% on hand if ever needed. If you’re looking for that unique rustic venue this is perfect!
