Sheepdrove is a blank canvas wedding venue on the Berkshire and Oxfordshire border within easy drive of London. Our venue is exclusively yours to share with your loved ones on your wedding day with access the day prior to your celebrations to prepare the rooms and create your dream day.
Surrounded by two thousand acres of organic farmland, Sheepdrove’s wedding venue is set within a twenty acre estate of scenic gardens and naturalistic grounds that include an aromatic herb garden, a tree lined courtyard, a pole barn with vintage tractors and antique gypsy caravan, an ancient oak woodland and a long lake with pontoon and boathouse.
We take sustainability seriously at Sheepdrove. Weddings take place in an operationally net zero “green building” powered by renewable energy generation.
Full and exclusive hire of the venue includes three unique and versatile spaces of size with seating for up to 150 guests to hold your celebration, plus an array of picturesque indoor and outdoor spaces for all aspects of your wedding day, with no additional exclusivity fees.
Our Oak and Beech Rooms make impressive ceremony locations and our Dining Hall and Courtyard Hall are fantastic places for dining and drinks. With each space being suited for different elements of the day, these stunning settings add up to one wonderful wedding day. Wedding prep rooms are available; choose from The Beech Room and The Rook’s Nest in the venue itself or book our accommodation Woodend and dress up in Room No. 1 British White with its lovely four poster or opt to get ready in our lakeside boathouse
Couples are welcome to completely tailor their wedding and transform our versatile venue to fit their own ideas, imagination and style – Sheepdrove is yours for the day and you can decorate it as you wish. The wonderfully professional team at Sheepdrove helped us vanquish all of our fears, and above us all, made us feel like we could conquer anything within this process. For me, I had my own little team of Fairy-God-Mothers. . There was always great communication, a helping hand when needed (which believe me, there will be!) and a friendly face to go with it. The team at Sheepdrove are as I said, professionals. They have done this many a time and can offer direction and guidance. They have a knack of offering direction, opinions and solutions but in an encouraging way. . Our special day was 19.12.19 and it was truly the most magical, Christmassy day we could have asked for. The venue is so beautiful in itself, it doesn't take much to dress it up. The natural, rustic feel to it enables you to dress it up in romance, without paying extortionate prices. We had so, so many compliments on the venue and the look and feel of our day. It's still spoken of; even now. It is certainly a day and feeling we will not forget. The food from the farm was delicious and there was plenty of it and it's all organic and sustainable, so great for the planet too! The team were helpful, friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. They arranged for sculptures and vintage tractors to be placed in the courtyard to add to the atmosphere. Even the farm manager was super accommodating and drove me to the ceremony in the farm tractor, complete with weddings ribbons. There are so many stunning places for photos, including the boathouse, that we were really spoilt for choice.
