🌞 Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Flow—The Ballroom features bi-fold doors that can be fully opened, allowing the outdoors to seamlessly blend with the indoor space. Guests can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and stunning views while celebrating in style.
💍 Perfect for Your Ceremony and Reception—The light-filled ballroom can comfortably seat up to 120 guests for a seated meal, with plenty of room for dancing and evening fun. As night falls, the celebrations continue on the dance floor, where you and your guests can party the night away.
🎉 Evening Celebrations—For larger parties, the venue can accommodate up to 250 standing guests for a lively evening party. The iconic architecture of the building is illuminated at night, creating a spectacular backdrop for dancing and festivities under the stars.

We are so excited to be re opening Saltdean Lido for Weddings and Events in 2024 after an extensive refurbishment process. Set to be one of the most unique Venues on the South Coast, with the stunning Art Deco Ballroom and beautiful terraces that overlook the heated 40m open air pool and lawns. We look forward to creating spectacular experiences for our couples!

As an Art Deco landmark we have so many! The stunning outdoor terraces that overlook the pool are the perfect spot for group photos. Our iconic staircase also provides a stunning backdrop.

What part of your business are you most proud of?
Saltdean Lido is a Community Interest Company. After years of neglect, local
residents rallied together to save the Lido from being demolished and turned into flats. After many years of fundraising the National Lottery Heritage Fund awarded £10 million to the project, allowing for a full restoration of the site.
Saltdean Lido is now a Community Interest Company. All funds raised from weddings and events are invested back into the Lido to sustain the historical landmark.
