With the flexibility of the Lawrence and Cawthorne Ballrooms or the more intimate Rose Room to choose from we are sure to be able to cater for your needs.
Our packages are designed to minimise the worry of working out the costs of your wedding. However, if you would prefer, we would be happy to quote for any ideas that you may have for your special day.
We are pleased to announce that you are able to perform your Wedding Ceremony, Civil Partnerships and Renewal of Vows in our Historic Building or our Garden Temple. This will be conducted by the Local Official Registrar located in Pontefract, contactable on 01977 722670.
Depending on the size of your Wedding, the Cawthorne & Lawrence Ballrooms each hold up to 100 day guests for a Civil Ceremony followed by a traditional Wedding meal and up to 180 evening guests (depending on your evening entertainment).
We have the availability of extending up to 200 day guests and 300 evening guests utilising both Ballrooms.
The Rose Room holds up to 25 guests for your Ceremony and Wedding Meal.

Joe was brilliant on the day ensuring we knew what we were doing, getting us drinks, even getting the bride some paracetamol! The staff involved (Lee, Kerry and Kate) and all the other staff went above and beyond to ensure the whole day went exactly right from start to finish. Nothing was too much for them with great attention to the smallest of details such as wearing co-ordinating colours to match our theme. The food was amazing and there was certainly plenty of it with a great variety to choose from that suited every single guest. The DJ was awesome and kept the room alive with lots of dancing from our guests, taking requests and ensuring everyone was having the best time possible. The suite we stayed in was of a high standard, large and very comfy. The housekeeping staff were brilliant leaving us love swan towels which was a lovely touch. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
