Rivington Hall Barn is the perfect location for any couple who are looking for a unique venue to host their wedding celebrations. As soon as you step inside The Barn you will appreciate the sheer magnificence of it’s spacious interior. A Grade II listed building full of character and charm with many original features including its huge Saxon beams. Beautifully decorated with hundreds of tiny fairy lights complemented by the subdued lighting of The Barn, carefully positioned spot lights & coloured up lighters matching the colour scheme of your day combine to create a truly magical atmosphere. Situated in a picturesque location surrounded by fields and woodland providing endless opportunities for your photographs. When you book Rivington Hall Barn for your wedding, you can be assured that you will receive our undivided attention. No other wedding or events will be held in the Barn on the same day. Our guest prices below cover all of the catering items you will need for a fabulous day. There are also lots of delicious extras you can choose to add, such as canapes on arrival, ice cream bike, a dessert table or a range of evening buffet upgrades. These haven’t been included in the guest prices as they are completely optional to add on if you would like to. Within the price for your day guests, we include your choice of welcome drink, a three-course wedding breakfast with tea, coffee and mints, four bottles of house wine per table with the meal (based on tables of 8-10 guests) and a glass of prosecco for the toast. Your evening guest price applies for your day guests and any additional guests attending in the evening only and varies depending on the buffet you choose for your evening reception.

Most perfect venue.Most perfect venue.
We knew it was going to be beautiful but had no idea they would be this good. The staff are amazing, we were already happy with venue, catering, area etc but what we didnt know is how the staff direct everything. We were worried about what we needed to do, where to be all of that cos 9 times out of 10, its the first time getting married! So we didnt have a clue but we didnt need to, staff would get us when needed, tell us where to be and when to be there, it was so easy. Being in wedding planning mode for 18 month then being able to fully relax on the day was the best and this venue gave us that! Thank you so much to the team at Rivington for making our special day run so smoothly from setting up our decorations, the delicious meal, friendly staff to helping with surprises we or our family had arranged. Then to top it all off we got to stay in the beautiful shepherds huts and have a full breakfast the following morning. Thanks again you really did make our wedding a fantastic day! Our Dream Wedding at Rivington Hall Barn We recently celebrated our wedding at Rivington Hall Barn, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The weather turned out beautifully, which only added to the magic of the venue. The Saxon barn itself is simply stunning — its unique aesthetic was one of the reasons we fell in love with the place, and on the day, it looked even more breathtaking than we imagined. The character and charm of the barn created such a warm, inviting atmosphere that both we and our guests were absolutely taken with. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and made our special day feel even more personal and unforgettable. We felt so well looked after from the moment we arrived until the last dance. And we can’t forget to mention the food — it was absolutely incredible. Simply the Best! Simply the Best!
From the moment we walked into Rivington Hall Barn, we just knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The dark wood, unique beams, and anglo-saxon features exuded charm, character and had an intimate feel. It is an absolutely STUNNING venue. We had a very particular theme in mind for our wedding (The forest in Pandora, the planet from the movie, Avatar) and the exquisite mood-lighting throughout the barn complemented this vision immediately. The range of extras on offer, such as backdrops and uplighters, use of the dressing room - where pastries and prosecco were also provided, lanterns, confetti cannons and streamers (which fall from the ceiling!) made this venue stand out by a mile. Whilst on the topic of food, the Rivington catering team offered a range of menu options - all of which were delicious. They were more than happy to adapt certain dishes upon our request and went above and beyond to cater for allergies and intolerances. All of the guests commented on the quality (and temperature!) of the food, which was bursting with flavour. From the second we visited the venue, we were blown away by the friendliness of the wedding team. They were all extremely knowledgeable and efficient. This was further highlighted throughout the planning process where they went above and beyond to support with our quirky requests! The communication from start to finish was second to none, with all of our wedding guests commenting on how the staff truly enhanced the day. The team responded to emails and calls promptly and with full detail; they constantly reassured us and made us feel at ease; they made helpful suggestions and took the time to understand our vision fully. This was the most PERFECT wedding venue. Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩
I had my wedding at Rivington hall barn and it was absolutely amazing! Before I booked Rivington I had looked at over a dozen of wedding venues and Rivington was by far the most stunning and elegant venue I had seen, I fell in love instantly. Everything about Rivington is amazing! The venue, the food & most important the staff!! The staff at Rivington are so polite, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a few dietary requirements with our meals and they catered for everyone whatever their needs were. They were always quick to reply with any queries and always made me feel reassured through the whole process leading up to the wedding and even on the wedding day which made the whole process less stressful and far more enjoyable. They went above and beyond for me, my husband and all our guest on our wedding day, they was so we’ll organised and provided the best services and we couldn’t have been more grateful for them and everything they did for us. All our guest were amazed with everything about it and also commented on how stunning the venue was, how amazing the food was and how amazing the staff was. We literally had the most magical day and memories we will cherish forever and a big part of that is because of Rivington and everyone that works there. Words are not enough to review Rivington Hall Barn. The location is absolutely beautiful, the vibe, the decor, the staff are absolutely brilliant, nothing negative can be said about this venue. My husband actually found this venue when we were hunting for the perfect place to say I Do and we came across it on Instagram. We were able to pick our date, arrange times to meet and discuss ideas and what we wanted and the staff gave us everything we wanted and asked for but went above and beyond. They answered every single email I sent (sorry guys) and made sure everything leading up to our magical day went as smooth as possible……and it did. The morning of our wedding, I arrived at 8.30. Before hand, we dropped things off the day before and they made sure everything was safe and looked after. I arrived with my bridesmaids and we started getting giddy. Breakfast of pastries, yoghurt, tea, champagne were brought up to us and the girls were so amazing they didn’t intrude they just left us to it and they are so, so polite and friendly. The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous, so much natural light and so spacious. When it was time to go down to meet my new husband, they helped me down the stairs with my dress and my dad, the staff are so kind and so lovely if I haven’t said that enough already, you guys are amazing! The whole day went so smoothly and we could not have picked a better place, better staff and we want to relive the whole day all over again. The food is absolutely delicious, all of our guests complimented the food, the staff, the decor just everything. You cannot fault this venue at all. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to ALL the staff at Rivington, for making our wedding the way we wanted it, for making all of our guests enjoy their day and night and for allowing us to make memories we will cherish forever.
