Whether you want your ceremony, reception or both with us. We have a range of spaces with varying capacities to suit you.
All the way from our grand 350 seater screen, to our intimate 52, we have screens that can cater to any couples needs. Screen 1 was once the cinema’s only screen and visually stays true to The Ritzy opening over 100 years ago. Screen 2 & 3 allow for a traditional aisle walk with parted seating. For something more intimate, but just as special, we have the wonderful screens 4 & 5.
With each screening room you have the ability to showcase your own love story on the big screen or slideshow of your fondest memories together to add an additional element of wonder to your day.
The upstairs bar, a gem within our venue, is thoughtfully divided into two versatile levels, offering an arrangement of layout choices. Whether you desire an open space to dance the night away. Or prefer tables set up for catering, we cater to your needs. Additionally, the bar features a charming balcony with a view of Windrush Square.

The space worked brilliantly for what we wanted and offered some beautiful photo opportunities from the balcony and photobooth which was a particular highlight for our guests. We also hired the readograph which made the day feel extra special. All in all a wonderful experience from start to finish, we wouldn't hesitate to book again!We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue! Harry and his team were excellent in making sure the event ran smoothly, and were really helpful and relaxed about us bringing external things in, like food and some of our own drinks as well. Made the place feel really special and welcoming and we had the best time ever, highly recommend.As well as this being our local cinema, we also decided to host our wedding party at the Upstairs Bar, from 6pm - 1am, and had the best night of our lives. Harry and his team were excellent in making sure the event ran smoothly, and were really helpful and relaxed about us bringing external things in, like food and some of our own drinks as well. It was the most fluid and enjoyable experience throughout the whole 6 hr event. Harry and Rachel were especially key in supporting us in every way both during and prior the event, to create the perfect wedding reception. And behind the scenes, Salomé was also really supportive of our requests. Our guests loved everything about the Event, especially the readograph outside and the sun filled balcony upon arrival.We had the most wonderful wedding reception held in Upstairs at the Ritzy.
