Description

Wedding reception weekend hire is a three night hire package commencing on arrival Friday midday and departing midday Monday. This hire is inclusive of the house with its accommodation and the venue for the reception. Ridge Farm is a dry hire / self-catering venue. Accommodation Ridge Farm’s hire is inclusive of the beautiful 16th century farmhouse with its very own boutique feel - all the comforts of a country hotel without feeling corporate. There are 12 bedrooms accommodating up to 25 guests, with your very own self-contained bridal cottage for two set within the grounds. We also provide a camping area with electricity and water so you may invite extra guests to camp. The Venue The Poolhouse venue is situated with in the grounds. It comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests for the sit down reception. Banqueting furniture, drapes, lighting and porta-loos are inclusive with venue hire, and liaison & security staff are on site to look after your reception guests from arrival to departure. You'll need to supply your own alcohol, but we provide bar staff for the evening celebrations (we don't charge corkage). Also provided is a state of the art sound system for your DJ or band to utilise, with inputs for laptops and iPods. Civil Ceremonies You can arrange for Surrey County Council to hold a Civil Ceremony for up-to 50 guests in the Farmhouse or up-to 150 guests in our outdoor enchanting woodland. Blessings Many couples have held a blessing here within the grounds, in the presence of all their reception guests and led by a humanist celebrant. You also have the option to hold a ceremony at one of the beautiful local churches. Catering Ridge Farm is a self catering venue: this gives clients the freedom to choose their own caterers and enables them to have control of banqueting style and budget.

A Fantastic WeekendA Fantastic Weekend
My partner and I fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited it for the first time. When it came to our wedding weekend, it exceeded our expectations and provided us with the most stunning backdrop to one of the most memorable times of our life. We are extremely grateful to Ellie and the whole team at Ridge Farm who helped us ensure everything ran smoothly. It clearly wasn't their first rodeo and their experience and input was invaluable. Couldn't recommend it more! My partner and I fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited it for the first time. When it came to our wedding weekend, it exceeded our expectations and provided us with the most stunning backdrop to one of the most memorable times of our life. We are extremely grateful to Ellie and the whole team at Ridge Farm who helped us ensure everything ran smoothly. It clearly wasn't their first rodeo and their experience and input was invaluable. Unbelievably amazing Unbelievably amazing
I can't believe there is a better wedding venue out there than Ridge Farm. It couldn't be more perfect. It's absolutely stunning for a start and has a really cool history being an old recording studio. We loved that our close friends could stay on site meaning the wedding was 3 nights in total and we could enjoy and see everyone. It has everything, a truly unique woodland area where you can get legally married, a lovely lawn for drinks, a huge room for the meal, a separate cottage for the bridal party to get ready, ample space to sleep. But on top of all of this, it's family run with some amazing people who work there, who truly create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can have fun and enjoy, and you can really make it your own for the weekend. You can choose your own caterers too but we couldn't recommend Chef Ian more who often works at Ridge Farm, him and his team were fabulous. Every guest commented on how wonderful the venue was. And a pool for the day 2 - unbelievably good!! I only wish we could do it all again, it was amazing and it's the venue that made it. We had the beat wedding at ridge farm. Eleanor and team were so helpful and supportive, and it feels like a really well run machine but personalised to you as a couple. The Most Perfect Venue!The Most Perfect Venue!
We had our wedding over the weekend of July 11th-July 13th 2025, and had the most wonderful experience at Ridge Farm. Ridge Farm was the first venue we looked at, and as soon as we arrived we felt that it would be a perfect place to get married. It is truly beautiful, from the woodland ceremony area, to the extensive green outdoor space, and the pretty bridal cottage and guest house. During the planning process, we Ellie was incredibly helpful with giving recommendations for trusted contractors who they had worked with before. She was also very patient with answering questions, and flexible with making sure all relevant contractors had their site visits organised very promptly. The whole process felt very organised and gave us a sense that we were in very good hands. On the weekend of the wedding itself, we had plenty of help and support in receiving deliveries, setting up stretch tents, liaising with the band and countless other things. We had a sense that nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole team were organised and professional, but also calm and kind and that combination allowed the day to be enjoyable for my partner and I, our families, and all our guests. Another wonderful aspect of Ridge Farm is that you have access to the venue from the Friday before the wedding to the Monday after. This means that there’s plenty of time to settle in the venue with family, wedding party etc before the actual wedding day, and there’s time after the wedding relax and use the swimming pool and tennis courts. Overall I cannot recommend Ridge Farm more highly, and we all hope to be back again as guests at other weddings soon! Ridge farm is truly the most incredible magical venue with THE MOST amazing, helpful, friendly, and lovely team!!! Absolutely everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble! We felt so cared for the whole weekend. And my goodness what an absolutely stunning fairytale of a place. I never could have imagined a more beautiful perfect place with the most beautiful relaxed, intimate and romantic atmosphere. Ridge farm is truly the most incredible magical venue with THE MOST amazing, helpful, friendly, and lovely team!!! Absolutely everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble! We felt so cared for the whole weekend. And my goodness what an absolutely stunning fairytale of a place. I never could have imagined a more beautiful perfect place with the most beautiful relaxed, intimate and romantic atmosphere.

My partner and I got married at Ridge Farm last Saturday, and had the best weekend of our lives. It is a truly unique venue in every way - from the stunning setting, the outdoor ceremony space and fantastic onsite accommodation, to the building's amazing history. Eleanor and the team went above and beyond and were fantastic to work with at every stage of the wedding planning process. They were friendly, flexible and so helpful from start to finish. We couldn't recommend Ridge Farm more.My partner and I got married at Ridge Farm last Saturday, and had the best weekend of our lives. My husband and I had our wedding at Ridge Farm in May and cannot even put into words how grateful we are. Eleanor and her team employ such kindness, cheerfulness, and calm, making the day feel so smooth and easy. We felt cared for every moment, from our arrival, to the wedding, to the departure. Being able to spend a day relaxing after the wedding, and not having to pack up right away is also a big plus and gave us a moment to decompress before real life. Every single piece of the property is designed with such care, you can feel the love that goes into every space, from the guest bedrooms in the main house, to the pool house, to the surrounding gardens. We both work in hospitality and were looking for a venue where we could celebrate all weekend long with the ability to have the wedding we wanted. As soon as we visited Ridge Farm and met with Ellie, we knew we had found our location. It was perfect for us - such a beautiful location and grounds with an incredible musical history. Some of the big plus points included the being able to have a legal ceremony on site, accommodation for all our family, being able to provide all catering and drinks ourselves with no corkage fees and party away all weekend. The photos do not do it justice or convey the feeling you get when you visit this special place, as all our guests agreed, so if you are looking for a venue, make sure you get a visit booked in! We were married at the beautiful Ridge Farm on 24th August 2024. From start to finish Eleanor and the whole team were amazing. So helpful, lovely and calm (exactly what you need when getting married!) The grounds and house are absolutely gorgeous, pictures cannot do this venue justice. You have to view it yourselves to get the real Ridge Farm feeling. All of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was! Wish we could do it all over again.
