Nestled in the heart of the South Downs, our secluded Estate can cater to different celebration styles, whether an intimate gathering or a grand occasion for up to 120 guests. With just a handful of wedding dates available each year, the Estate has played host to unforgettable celebrations in the past, and we would love for your day to be next.
Our Venues
Flint Barns – Rustic Charm & Exclusive Hire
Perfect for larger celebrations up to 120 guests, we offer exclusive use on a two-night minimum hire basis of our Flint Barns. The hire includes all lounge, dining, and courtyard spaces, plus the two-bedroom Rathfinny Cottage and 10 en-suite bedrooms. The price includes breakfast for overnight guests as well.
For your ceremony, our wedding license allows for outdoor vows in the courtyard or on the Vineyard bank, with an indoor option available in the Dining Room. From 2026, we also offer two stunning marquee styles: Clearspan for a sleek, open space or Sailcloth for a rustic, elegant touch, both with Vineyard views. Your marquee hire would be included in the venue fee.
Catering at the Flint Barns on wedding days is provided by the wonderful Herb Kitchen, which will work with you to create a bespoke menu. You can view their brochure here. Please do be encouraged to contact Herb Kitchen directly if you have any questions for them.
To extend your celebrations further and make the most of your time with us at the Flint Barns, we are also able to offer dinner on the Friday night before the big day. This ensures that you get to maximise the use of the venue and spend as much time with all your friends and family as possible. We cater for this in-house at Rathfinny and can offer anything from a sit-down meal to a BBQ or a charcuterie and cheese-themed evening. Sample menus are available here.
Tasting Room – Intimate & Elegant
For a more intimate celebration, our Tasting Room, set within the Winery, offers breathtaking Vineyard views. This space accommodates up to 30 guests at a single long table, with exclusive use between noon and 11 pm. The hire fee includes a three-course meal and canapés, with a menu curated for your event. Drinks & Bar Service
No Rathfinny wedding would be complete without Sussex Sparkling to toast your day! A fully staffed bar will be on hand to look after your guests throughout your celebrations. The bar will serve the full Rathfinny wine portfolio, including our Cradle Valley still wines, alongside curated cocktails and spirits.
Viewings & Next Steps
We would be delighted to arrange an appointment for you to visit and take a look around. We offer viewings from Wednesday to Friday and on select Saturdays throughout the month. If you would like to do so, please let us know your preferred time to visit, along with which venue you would like to see, as this will determine availability.
