The venue was perfect for the wedding ceremony, the fork buffet was superb, plentiful and pleasantly served by your catering team. We had a great evening with Paul's disco getting everyone up and dancing and your friendly bar staff ensured everyone was well lubricated. We would definitely recommend the venue to other wedding couples.Sue, we really want to thank you and your team for your contribution to our amazing wedding and evening reception at the Overstone Park Resort. We felt at ease from the moment we sat down to discuss our big day with Sue. We have a lot of worries and questions wanting to make sure our day will go perfectly, and every time we spoke with Sue, she made us feel very relaxed and confident that we are in good hands. The venue, staff and the views were absolutely amazing, and we could not ask for more. The day started and ended well in sunshine for all concerned and the grounds looked lush which made our day very memorable. Given that there was a varied selection of dietary requirement, it all seemed to run extremely smoothly thanks to your attention to detail and patience. We couldn’t have asked for more attentive and amazing staff. We’d especially like to say a special thanks to Sue, who co-ordinated our wedding and made the whole process so easy and Aaron, who kept us on track on the day plus Paul (the DJ)We just wanted to say a huge “thank you” to all the staff who supported us on our wedding day (3rd July 2021). - MMr and Mrs Clarkson06/04/2022We wouldn’t of changed it for the world, what a peWe wouldn’t of changed it for the world, what a pe3 years and 8 months being engaged, 15 months later than planned with 3 cancellations in between, but we wouldn’t of changed it for the world, what a perfect day it turned out to be, well worth the wait. The team at Overstone were fantastic throughout the entire process, as you can imagine it’s hard both mentally and physically rearranging a wedding multiple times as a couple waiting for the biggest day of your life, but I can say with ease, without Sue we would of struggled, she has been such a fantastic wedding planner, she kept us in the loop as much as possible throughout lockdown and reassured us every step of the way, to our delight on the day we should of tied the knot (11/04/20) we received a bunch of flowers from Sue, this shows how much the team at overstone really care about how they want the day to be for the couple. It was so touching and thoughtful. After a long and anxious wait, the big day finally arrived (30/05/21) the team made the day feel stress free, it ran like clock work, so smooth and no problems, I even managed to get my button sewed back on my suit 5 mins before the wedding! (1 st class service). The afternoon tea and drinks where brilliant they were the perfect fit for a beautiful sunny day, (enough cake to fill us all up and more). The bar staff were fantastic throughout the day and into the evening, they managed to put up with my semi ‘drunk’ self, Arron was fantastic throughout the day, he helped to organise and maintain the day to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. My wife and I would like to pass a massive thank you onto Sue,Arron and the other members of the team involved in the creation of the biggest day in our lives, so thank you for everything. It really was worth the wait and I would fully recommend getting married here, it’s a beautiful setting and the perfect place to get married the team are friendly and fantastic they help with the organising and running of the big day.
