For us it was a stress free day as the staff took care of everything and it was such an amazing day. The food was so nice and all our guests said, How good it was. This venue is truly stunning, it has a romantic history, and we just loved the feature fireplace and background story and wonderful conservatory. We got married on Valentine's weekend, and I wanted roses and twisted vines as decor. I really under estimated how much there was to do, but the staff helped me so much. We chose an afternoon tea for our reception as we had a very small wedding, and a bbq for the evening meal. The food was fantastic, all our guests commented on how much there was, and how tasty! I think a hotel is only as good as it's service, and I can honestly say Orton Hall has amazing staff providing a fantastic service. The managers, wedding coordinators, receptionists, bar & serving staff, chefs, and cleaners, all of them worked together to make our day unforgettable. The Wedding breakfast was also amazing as there were Vegetarians and Vegans all well catered for by the staff at Orton Hall. The Duty Manager excelled himself with knowing who was Vegetarian and who was Vegan. He also carried out all his other duties really well and nothing seemed to faze him and he was able to accommodate any questions asked. The Vegan food was some of the best Vegan food my Wife and I have ever eaten out. We had a Tomato Soup followed by a wonderful Risotto, finished off with a wonderful Chocolate Brownie and Custard. We were very impressed with all the food and it tasted fantastic. After the Wedding but before the Breakfast we were allowed to go to our room to relax for a short break. It was amazing. It was very spacious for the 3 of us. My wife myself and my step daughter. She loved her big single bed to herself. My wife and I had a super King-size. Wow that was spacious. We would highly recommend Orton Hall as a wonderful place to stay.The Wedding went really well everything was amazing.
