Our Brand New bespoke wedding barn is able to capacitate over 200 guests. A quirky, rustic bar within is a selling point; in addition to a converted Stable Bar area outside. Our secret garden provides a perfect photo backdrop along with all the surrounding countryside views.
Our bespoke event barn sits perfectly in its rural surroundings. Complete with Unique, show stopping lighting, original features and flagstone floors, it can be tailored to suit your capacity and style, seating up to 250 guests if necessary. We also have a choice of furniture to compliment your theme and extensive props to decorate.
The stable bar is perfect addition to the new barn. This converted stable offers valuable under-cover additional space for your guests to socialise. Perfect for a local cider or ale - a true rustic gem!
Our hand crafted, shepherds huts provide perfect accommodation for your guests and our beautifully appointed Bridal suite is a must!

Exclusive use of Old Oak Farm for a weekend wedding (2 days and 1 night). Exclusive use of the event field along with the adjoining field allocated for parking and green field camping - perfect for accommodating guests. The hire price includes uptown one day to set up, allowing you to dress your venue;- guests are welcome on site from Friday to set up tents and you are welcome to start dressing/setting up from Friday late morning.

- SSue and Nick18/05/2024Our beautiful wedding Our beautiful weddingOld oak farm where do I begin! This venue is beyond stunning! I have been watching old oak for a long time and couldn’t wait to see the venue. When we arrived the venue was still in building mode but we could see the potential from then and knew that was the perfect place for us to get married. The whole process has been easy, great communication and lots of support. We had a few meetings and each time the owners were lovely, really friendly and helpful, we spoke about what sort of things we wanted and Rebecca really helped us with ideas and offered us her props and decorations, we went through all the food options and running of the day, there were some many things to choose from which was lovely as I left feeling more together and organised. The day of the wedding the venue was just perfect, the set up was everything we had wanted and more. When I arrived the owners and staff were all there ready and willing to help. After the ceremony the staff were there being attentive giving out drinks and our canapés. We went off for photos but when we came back we had sliders presented to us which was a nice touch as I know sometimes the bride and groom can get forgotten whilst they aren’t there and there’s nothing left when they get back. Though out the day the staff were amazing always there to help but at the same time they were very discreet which again is another great attitude. We had a buffet style meal which was absolutely beautiful, as our meal was served Rebecca came with a separate plate for me (I hadn’t noted down my food preferences when I had done the other guests but Rebecca had picked up on it during our pre wedding conversations, which was a really lovely touch with a attention to detail). This happened again in the evening, we had homemade pizzas which my husband couldn’t have, the staff checked in with him asking if he wanted his separate order, he wasn’t ready so they checked in shortly after making sure he wasn’t forgotten and no one else got his dish. The venue was kept clean and tidy all day but again without us even knowing, the day ran like clockwork and Rebecca and her staff checked in making sure we were happy or needed anything though out the day. We had so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how attentive the staff were, how clean the venue was especially the toilets which everyone loved. As for the food everyone was so impressed, the vegetarians said it was nice that they received their food first because they often feel like an afterthought or forgotten. Everyone said it was the nicest wedding food they had ever had with lots of choice and variety and that there plenty of it. It was the same for the evening meal the fresh cooked pizzas cooked outside went down a treat. The night of the wedding we stayed at the venue, again there was so much attention to detail in the room, lovely robes and mr and Mrs cups, bubbly, biscuits and strawberries then croissants for breakfast and the quaint Little lodge was tucked out of the way and just beautiful. The following morning the staff and cleaned up and packed all our stuff up making it really easy for us to pack up. We had such an amazing day, it was everything we wanted and more and that’s all thanks to old oak farm and their amazing staff, we can not thank you enough for being so attentive and amazing, we wouldn’t have wanted to have our wedding anyway else it was just perfect, you should be very proud of what you have created and the work you do. - HHolly & Ben06/11/2023The best day ever!The best day ever!I cannot recommend Rebecca and Old Oak Farm enough! First off, Rebecca is a fantastic coordinator. She is friendly, organised, attentive and responsive. She's so full of great ideas that just add that extra something special to your day. The venue itself is just beautiful. The barn is warm, welcoming and inviting. It is perfect if you are going for a rustic vibe, and looked absolutely incredible once it was all dressed up for our wedding. However even without the decorations that we brought in it still would have looked fantastic and made for some stunning photographs. The big windows let loads of natural light in during the day, and make the whole place feel very airy and social. The dancefloor area is great, and looks stunning with its twinkly lights, and the big, long bar is perfect, especially if you have lots of guests. Outside, the Stable Bar, secret garden and beautifully manicured lawn make for gorgeous photo opportunities. There is plenty of parking for your guests, and a couple really cute, cosy shepherd huts for guests to stay in. On the day, the bar/waiting/kitchen staff were all fantastic and kept the day flowing smoothly, all with a smile on their faces! The food was absolutely delicious as well. Old Oak Farm really is a slice of Somerset countryside heaven, and I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. It was the 3rd venue we looked at, and after leaving we cancelled our viewings with other venues because we knew it was the one for us! We had the most magical wedding day at Old Oak Farm. Guests were saying what a beautiful venue it was, and how great everything was. Family members have food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to create a bespoke dessert for my nephew so that he was able to have a diary free option! The staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help out! The hosts are so thoughtful and listen to the needs and dreams of the bride and groom to ensure the whole day is tailored to their every need creating the perfect dream wedding!! The attention to detail and the beauty of what they have created is incredible. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. My day was made all the better for having it organised so amazingly by Bex the owner and Andys the owners small designs for example an infinity champagne cabinet to the handmade bar and even to the skittle alley outside, as we were part of our local skittle team. The little touches went a million miles and Bex didn't miss a beat Local Venue that blew our minds. From the decor to the food to the staff! I can suffer with anxiety quite bad and I had a lot of fear for the aisle and vows but Rebecca made me feel so comfortable I didn't give it a second thought. The venue is absolutely insane! The food from canapé to mains right to evening were all amazing. I wish I could do it all over again. The amount of compliments we got from our guests were crazy. Everyone had the best time. Rebecca and Andy made our day absolutely perfect. From start to finish I had a smile on my face. yes! We have had a few celebrity guests in attendance but we don't like to pry.
What’s your favourite canapé?
The venue favourite has to be our scampi chip cones served in cute newspaper cones with homemade tartare- they are great value for money and are a good feed for guests! My personal favourite are the chorizo paella Arancini there are so tasty.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Wood fired Pizza for sure!!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The entire venue is utterly unique as it was hand crafted by the owners using reclaimed, locally sourced materials.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
