We are a dog friendly and accessible venue specialising in Elopement and Small Intimate weddings. Whether you have your heart set on a candlelit winter wedding or an outdoor summer celebration, our experienced team can help you to plan every last detail. Our elopement package has been designed for couples and up to 4 guests and includes two complimentary nights in a 5 star bridal suite, private dining for the couple and an hours photography.
Our Small and Intimate package has been designed for couples planning a wedding with up to 28 guests. You have a choice of the Kave or outdoor gazebo for your ceremony and welcome reception taking full advantage of the beautiful panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Kave’s natural interior has been crafted by local Devon masons and beautifully finished to give a totally secluded, romantic and elegant setting for your ceremony. A twinkling chandelier and wood burning stove completes the romantic ambience. The acoustics inside the Kave are perfect for live or recorded music during your ceremony. The Kave is easily accessible from the lawn, there are no steps or steep areas to negotiate - it’s suitable for the highest of heels and the longest of trains. The beautiful bi-folding glass doors enable couples to still enjoy the enchanted backdrop of the ocean, even if the weather is not on our side on your special day.
Wedding receptions are hosted in the beautiful rustic barn, this is a great space for relaxing and enjoying a fabulous locally sourced wedding breakfast.
Our venue requires minimal styling as the natural beauty of the setting coupled with the mesmerising sea view makes it the perfect setting for your vows. The staff are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. They are a credit to Ocean Kave and you can tell they all really care about the guests. Nothing is too much trouble and they really do make you feel special. We had a small and intimate wedding and all the party stayed in the various cottages on site. The accommodation really has the wow factor. Everyone was thrilled with the cottages. The small touches such as the Christmas trees and the scones with clotted cream and jam just made it even more perfect. The mulled wine and mince pies on arrival helped too. The kids loved the games room and play area, and loved going to collect the eggs from the chickens. As for the wedding day, it was just perfect. The Kave is the most magical, beautiful and wonderful setting and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have their special day there. We hadn't even seen the venue before we went down and it really didn't disappoint. That is when I came across Ocean Kave. I myself live in Kent so the idea of a 6 hour drive had to be for something truly worth it and Ocean Kave could not have delivered more. Compromising of a 'cave' where your ceremony is held, a semi circle venue hall overlooking the sea, a huge lawn which gave lots of entertainment ideas to the on site accomadation that is, simply put, beautiful. There is not much you could ask for out of this venue that it didnt have and from day one the team at Ocean Kave have been on hand with any questions or advice needed, trying to make your day as if it was the only wedding happening in the world. On the big day itself every member was available for any of your needs, making sure every detail that you had envisioned would happen. There are ample backdrops for all your wedding pictures and there is also a path that runs down the hill for perfect couple shots with the sea below and the sun setting behind you. Ocean kave provide a golf buggy to take you down to this path and back in time for drinks! Everything is modern and sleek, with sparkly floor and walls in the bathrooms. We had our wedding here nearly a week ago & all our guests are still going on about how amazing the venue was! The views are stunning, the kave was beautiful, the food was delicious. We could not of picked a more perfect setting for our special day. Kathy & Rich had been fantastic during the wedding planning, living in Suffolk & choosing a venue so far away was a bit daunting as we didn't know where to start with choosing florists etc but they made the whole experience for us stress free! During our stay nothing was ever too much trouble & Rich & his team on the actual wedding day were so lovely. They really made our day that bit more special. We could just relax & enjoy the whole day. We would definitely recommend ocean Kave. Thank you once again.We cannot recommend ocean Kave enough!
